Live Events Unmute Presenters
Currently the producer have the ability to mute a presenter but can't unmute him, it would be nice to have for a full control and fluid experience.

completely agree.
Privacy issue can be handled by displaying a message to presenters when they join saying producer has that option and giving the presenter the opportunity to prevent that for them.

Not sure if this would fall into the same category. But would be great to have it that presenters can't unmute unless the producer says so

do not know why this feature is not available, tried it several times that the presenter forgot to unmute.

Or where the mute button is, have the option to send an unmute request to the person speaking so the get a little popup that says UNMUTE! or YOUR MICROPHONE IS MUTED. This would get around the privacy issue, But I would still like to see full control as a producer and maybe have the option of either in settings.

This is a must have. Just like a TV Production, the production team can control the event more smoothly.

We need this. Not having it was disruptive in a presentation that I just had. The presenter had shared screen and couldn't easily find the unmute and did not know the shortcut. Ended up coming out of the presentation which caused a bit of panic. It would have been so good if I could have just clicked the unmute for them. As I was in charge of the webinar it is hardly a security issue.

If you are a speaker in a live event the producer needs to be able to mute AND unmute speakers.
This isn't a privacy risk as the people are specifically invited as a speaker for a large event they should know and be ready to speak and be on camera at any time.I don't need to turn their camera on but being able to unmute speakers that forget or because I had to mute them for creating noise is a must have.
It just like when producing an in room event I control every speaker and mic in the room.Sometimes they are in a meeting room and the mute and unmute button is far away and therefore can't control it themselves.
Phone participants don't realize they are muted and can't figure out how to unmute.

This would really be a handy feature and would minimize disruptions during live events

A definite must to assist producers.

Without this functionality it makes the job of producer very difficult, and means you are using a secondary channel (skype, phone, whatsapp, jumping up and down waving) to get the presenters attention to come off mute.
As producer, I've had to break into the live stream to ask the presenter to come off mute, which is not professional.

This is a important feature, also if the Producer could unmute any presenter if they are next to talk..

This is a MUST - and a serious reason to look elsewhere unless Microsoft adds this feature. Others already mentioned this, but as a producer, I often need to mute others for echo or fidgeting, but then they don't realize they've been muted. Please please please add this.
And I agree with others mentioning privacy issues; it's a non-issue because the presenters KNOW and trust the producer to handle their audio correctly.
Again, I repeat - an absolute must.

This is an important feature that is currently lacking. I understand from a privacy perspective that this may not be possible in meetings, but the producer role becomes quite useless when we can't unmute someone after throwing them on the screen in a live event.

We had an example this week, a key presenter was muted for an entire slide. As we were all remote there was little we could do. 1500 attendees.

I agree, would like to be able to both mute and un-mute people as a presenter.

This would be a huge help to make live events more useful. Sometimes presenters are doing something with there hands and it means they have to completely stop to unmute. I get the security implications of this in a normal meeting, but with Live Events, this would be really helpful.

This REALLY needs to be fixed. Until we can get the unmute feature other live streaming tools will be able to produce a more professional experience than Teams Live Events!

Agreed, we have run into many issues with this during live events and giving the producers control over muting AND unmuting would be extremely helpful (and makes sense)
