comments in office apps in team chats, not email
Not sure where to put this, here or in the Office apps, but it would be better if when a user used the new Comment feature in side of Excel, Word, or PowerPoint, if the user was notified via Team chat from the user that made the comment so it could quickly be dealt with vs the current experience where the user gets an email, clicks to open the file, which opens in Sharepoint, not Teams, then the user has to delete/archive the email, and manually switch to Teams if the conversation should be continued in a traditional Teams conversation vs comments. Way too much clicking and hunting around with the current workflow.
@Microsoft: I've seen multiple requests about the same topic. It would be beneficial if you merge those duplicate requests. Especially if the header of the request is not well choosen or the topic is very complicated it is hard for other users to find the according, existing requests and vote all for the same. Instead we get mini request like this which are actually requested and voted for by many more. I hope you get my point.
Anyway, I am also expecting a closer integration of teams into word. It could be a simple user customizing flag on office account level "Send notifications to me via Teams chat".
