Allow to share screen to External Contacts directly through Chat
Allow to share screen to External Contacts directly through Chat. Currently we can only share our screen to external contacts when in a meeting. We can share screen to our internal colleagues but not to External Users. We will be needing to add them as a Guest Users first.
we do not have the option to screen share within chat unless we are in a meeting.
I understand that we are moving forward with Teams, but skype has this feature that we can screen share within chat. I hope you have this feature available soon!
I agree with all other comments below. It is an important feature that make it easier to contact and communicate with external partners.

This is the single most important feature that's missing in Teams right now, the chat with externals is just horrible.
Chat logs are deleted after some time?
No formatting of text?
No sharing of any content?
Feels like Lync back in 2010..
This was probably the biggest feature I used in Skype for Business. Most of my contact are outside my organization and i run a support business where this was the tool to quickly and efficiently resolve issues. Loosing this feature will have a financial impact to my company as well.
Most needed feature as it was there in Skype for Business.

This one is a deal breaker for me. I was migrated to teams this weekend and I'm hoping I can roll back somehow.
I'm an external contractor and my office 365 account is external to the organizations I work with. People used to call me and ask for help and desktop share. Now it doesn't work and it's just causing all of us frustration.
This was the most useful feature of Skype business,i work in engineering and need to screenshare for IT issues and engineering solutions with all our clients constantly..I was forced to upgrade and this is causing me major issues!!
Needs to be fixed. They fixed is for internal chat but not external.

Agreed, it worked in Skype for Business and now it doesn't. This needs to be sorted out.
