multiple phone numbers
It would be nice to be able to assign more than one user number to a single user. Call qeues are not always a suited solution. E.g. if the user needs to dial out with different numbers.

I agree, this is normal for many businesses, especially for admin assistants or receptionists.

I concur. Having access to multiple lines is a business norm

Hey Microsoft some companies delegate meetings to one assistant that's in charge of setting up meeting to all the divisions.....

We totally could use this feature.... it makes sense to allow different telephone numbers from different regions/states/countries to be routed to one specific user endpoint.

Yes, this is the most required feature... also how a team's user can be given two numbers i.e. one for the UK and one for the US to show presence in both countries for example. So that the customers can reach the support agent/a person easily from the caller's domestic country.

It is quite common now to have multiple mobile phone numbers for individuals. we can add them in AD but can't get them to display in Teams. Be really helpful to have this ability to display all the telephone numbers on the AD object.

This feature is of utmost importance. Especially for companies dealing in multiple markets!

We migrated to Microsoft Teams from 8x8 and now we are switching back because we can not use our main companies number when we call our clients. We don't want to use our numbers because then it gets annoying when clients start to call back us directly.
Is there a way to hide my called ID or setup the our MAIN office number to show as called ID? -

please do this. This is a necessary feature for an enterprise PBX.

for terminated users, having this feature will save a few voice license $, and often we keep the number alive for more than 6 months

I'm also new to the game and have a need and not sure to work around it. We are moving from Vonage.
When the virtual assistant answers and the the called requests me in one two ways I don't know how to handle it.
I have a staff of 7 people - if the caller wants to reach me (Rick) they get the option and it goes to my account and either rings me or they leave a voice mail.
Option 2 - if the caller is in an emergency and presses 9 for after hours emergency response - MOST of the time it will also come to my phone (cell) but at times I have it go to another employee to cover me. I don't know how to set something like this option up so it can be moved to different people ro better yet - if it sends the call to my phone it distinguishes itself between a regular caller and and an emergency must answer call.
Any idea how to set this up?

Customers are interested in the ability to transfer MS Calling Plan numbers to multiple external (to TEAMS) phone numbers. Is this on the roadmap?

I would also like to see this functionality added as it gives call control for those numbers to the users. Auto attendants and call queues cause a multiple ring delay whereas user direct dials pop up almost immediately and provides a better client experience at this point.

Please implement this as we require call forwarding to manager's phones for when people leave the company. We would like to disable the leavers account but the user then doesn't appear in MS Teams, so we are unable to implement call forwarding. Having a 2nd number on the manager's phone would get around this.

having to use a call que for 2nd numbers is clunky at best. Please implement this.

Use Case -an organization serves multiple markets and desires to have a local number when dialing into that market. with multiple numbers the user can make calls using the correct area code. without this ability, the user must log out and log in as a new user - thus disrupting other communications
