Ability to set a custom recording policy per Tech Community request
meeting recording privacy controls are missing:
1. Show everyone while in a meeting once someone in the meeting started to record:
show a specific message in the chat: user-x has started recording this sesison.
instead of just: the session is being recorded.
2. meeting organizers:
meeting policy to add: only meeting organizers can record meeting.
meeting recording buttons to add to the meeting organizer teams:
1. simlar to mute all participants:
add: pause all recordings. (no matter who started the recording"
2. allow meeting orgenizers by adding a button to them only:
"prevent all other users from starting a recording of this meeting:"
meeting organizer should be able to click a checkbox while in a meeting:
"this meeting is private. - the meeting recording will not be available to all meeting
participants through the chat interface in teams. only the organizer will be able to record it.
a notice is still presented to participants: "this meeting is being recorded by the organizer:
name__, this meeting is private/confidenital/restricted.
4. Super Critical:
A meeting recording may contain confidential information.
the meeting orgenizer should have buttons available for him and him only
once anyone presses the recording button, to classify the meeting:
1. non-classified meeting recording - anyone with access to the recording can re-share..
with anyone else and externals.
2. classified: internal only: only internal sharing will be allowed,
and no download file capability.
3. classified: restricted: only meeting participants can access this recording,
but will be able to share internally. and no file download capability.
4. classified: Private-Restricted. access to the video will be granted only to
the meeting organizer, the meeting will not be available to anyone in the chat.
the organizer will have the ability to share with others, or download the video file.
5. classified: Private-super-restricted: - only the organizer will have ability to see and
share the video file, no download capabilities.
these classification labels will also be enforced on other platforms such as: streams,
and even if someone decides to share a classified labeled file with externals, the
classification labeling will override that.
this should allow control over video-files teams recordings data breaches.

I will like the ability that if it not possible to modify the policy statement to add a second policy statement for my company. The policy statement being linked to in the banner that appears when a teams meeting recording is initiated
Recording during an event is the best feature in all the Team meetings. However, the recording control should be decided only by the Organizer or the one who is scheduling it. Not by the participants. For Eg.: In the Live meeting, there is an option for the producer to set this control. This control is required in all formats of the team meetings so that multiple recordings can be avoided. Instead, the organizer alone can record the event an share it to the participants, thus avoiding multiple copies of recording of the same event.
Recording option in meeting is available. We want option to restrict to Owner/Organiser and recorded information also to be restricted to Owner/organiser. View /Recording option should not be available to the participants.
