iOS Apps cannot clear account information that has been signed in
Microsoft Teams iOS application is caching account information that has been signed in.
I cannot clear the cached account information.
I tried the following things, but cannot clear.
- Teams App uninstall/re-install
- Clear app data...[Settings(iOS)]-[Teams]-[Clear app data]
- [Remove Account] in Atuhenticator
- Delete [Settings]-[Passwords & Accounts]-[Website & App Passwords]
- Safari [Clear History and Website Data]
We are excited to share that this feature is now available to all iOS users. To clear account information, just swipe left on the account on the login screen.

Here is a video that shows how to sign out of a Teams account and delete it.
Any update on this. I am trying to clear everything but still my old organization id comes up. What is Microsoft support team doing? No response on this security breach issue at all
Hello.....Microsoft......are you there?
Your action is required on this issue please.
I deleted the account from OneDrive but it remained on Teams
it has to be done from OneDrive app.. Help and Feedback - sign out of all accounts.
Is anyone from Microsoft actually monitoring this or are we all shouting into the wind? The original post is over a year and a half old! I understand using UserVoice to allow popular ideas drive development, but holy ****. Security flaws should not wait for popularity. It is completely incomprehensible that such a major flaw doesn't get noticed or addressed by anybody from a company with the resources at its disposal like Microsoft. We shouldn't have to rely on other users to find workarounds that may or may not work. Last I checked, Microsoft isn't a startup. But neglecting basic features like this make it sure seem like one. Get it together, Microsoft.
I just figured it out
#1 I clicked on the triple line at the top left. This opens the list of accounts.
#2 I selected the account I didn't want to keep on my phone.
#3 I clicked on SETTINGS.
#4 i scrolled all the way down and found a LOG OUT option.Click this.
Once I logged out the account disappeard from my phone.
please please fix this. our users are having to nuke there phones everytime there enterprise password changes
It is incomprehensible that it is not possible to remove an account. On shared devices, this is a breach of data protection. Microsoft, FIX THIS
I found a way to do it, but YMMV. I uninstalled Teams and re-installed it. Upon re-opening Teams for the first time after re-install, it still showed the two accounts I had added to the iPad previously, one of which I was trying to remove. It was in a state where it did not yet have the passwords for either account. There was an Edit button in the upper right that I clicked and that resulted in me being able to remove the one account I wanted to remove.
Hope this works for others
I need to remove a Team account from a previous job where I no longer have access to the “advanced” data to remove the Team. I cannot clear the notifications.
I also need the option to remove a sign in account from an organization I previously worked at and no longer have access to.
Please add an option to Remove account, obviously when you provide a feature to add an account, then there must a feature to remove an account.
What if we leave an organization, still the ID remains there.

Can’t login to MS Teams business account and can’t remove the cache login to see if that helps. It’s a shame that Microsoft used to be the king of business productivity software and now such a simple feature that should be part of any app is missing and they don’t seem interested in fixing. I wish my company used a competitor.
Have you fixed this yet? Seriously. I had a student sign into Teams from my iPad and although I have logged him out his teams are still showing along with mine.
This is a very, very much needed Feature. Students are able to see other students login information and I am pretty sure that someone WILL try to login a hundred times on one of those accounts showing up in the list.
And that account will most likely be locked at some Point.
So, pleaaaaaaase integrate a way to remove unused accounts on iOS devices.
I am a teacher with students using Teams on shared devices. For the love of the good Lord, please work on a way to delete user log in info quickly. It's ludicrous that's there's no quick way to 'forget' a user log in as there is on Microsoft Office. Get it sorted out, Microsoft! Surely this is the kind of feature your developers should be able to sort out in an afternoon?
This option used to be possible a while back but is been deactivated . I no
Longer want to see the login details of the company that made me redundant..... this open Microsoft to liability
Very surprising that this is no mechanism to remove previously signed-in accounts. Any update on this from Microsoft?
