Forward Conversations to chat/another team/channel
I love this feature in mobile - would really use it in the Windows app/browser/Mac app. The ability to take a chat message, or channel message, and from the '. . .' menu have the forward option, where you can forward the message to another person, or to another channel/team.
That would help us use group chat for conversations outside of the team with non team members, then take the final message that has a solution to a 'problem' and pass it back to the team.

Indeed very useful feature. Often discussions start in a private channel because we want to keep it private form now or do not want to bother the others. As soon as the solution is found the last messages should show up in the right channel without copy and pasting the text.
Please add this feature to desktop!
would also be amazing if one could forward more than one message at a time

Definitely a flaw in the desktop app since it works already in mobile app. Please make it available in desktop app as well!

forwarding of items (messages, images, files etc) from one chat window to one or multiple contacts would be really useful feature.
At this point of time, one has to download the attachments again & re-attach in all the chat windows manually one by one.
This is really time-consuming.
Please consider this feature in future releases.

Or the ability to add it as a thread to a team chat.

Please consider this possibility for the desktop app too

Usually it's not just one message I need to forward, so multiple select posts and then forward would be best for me.
Forwarding one message already works in the mobile app. Please make it available also in the desktop.

I would describe it as repost of a chat to another channel. but in general it is the same idea i guess.
Exactly! Or if one function posts an idea that I'd like to share with my broader team, I can easily forward the conversation (or at least the initial message) to another channel so that it clearly shows who it came from!
