Channel analytics by Teams
As a user, I would like to see how many people read my channel or post. I don't care about which people, just a general idea of the number would work.
We have an information channel. If it is not read at all, I would not maintain the channel.

Yes- need to see team membership over period of time (ideally back 1 year). There is active users but we are looking to understand:
1. Who has joined the channel and is being informed but may not be posting
2.Who has joined but is not an active user -

As a Teams Admin we would like to know if there a chance or options to pull the channel activity report on MS teams applications

Getting these reports on most liked posts, most active user, most members to a channel, there is alots of benefits in getting these statistics on a per channel basis, and providing it in a report to display on a dashboard.

I agree with Dec Elson. We need to be able to see who the active users of each channel are. If folks are not active, we need to know this so we can figure out why.

Teams analytics reports # of active channels but doesn't list inactive channels. I need to know what channels are INACTIVE especially through the API so I can provide team notifications for inactive channels for clean up.

I echo Dec Elson's comments. It would be great in a team of 500 to identify who the key players are to invite them to future growth opportunities and to champion the platform.

■Title(件名): [Analytics] タブや [分析] タブを非表示にする機能を実装してほしい
Enable/Disable displaying [Analytics] tabs for the users in Teams.
******************************
■Description(内容):
We acknowledge that the behavior of the [Analytics] tab appears when you select the team tab from the toolbar in Microsoft Teams and click the gear icon on the right side of [Join or create a team] at the bottom of the screen.
For ease of management, we hope the feature improvement that [Analytics] tab can be displayed only to the admin and hidden from the user. Besides, it is very useful the [Analytics] tab which will be displayed when you open Manage teams from the […] mark next to each name to enable display/hiding to the users as well.

Currently, the analytics of a team is restricted to seeing how many members are active. However, there is no way to see who is active and who is not active. It would be good if team owners could see which users have been active and who hasn't so that they can find out firstly why they are not active and to also enforce the adoption of the use of teams.
