add offline status
add offline status in Teams
How to appear offline on Teams Mobile app:
I want to add justification to have a "OFFLINE" status available as like in Outlook. This allows my machine to remain on but indicate to others that I am not available for immediate chats, etc. Also when the machine is shut down or MS teams is shut down, the OFFLINE should take effect as well. "OFFLINE" sends a significantly clearer message of a person's status. "APPEAR AWAY" and "BE RIGHT BACK" are the same color so it they both lose their meaning and users ping you anyways.
I have a support role where 10000 people will try to direct IM me when they see me "online". I was able to set my status to offline in skype and would like it to stay that way in teams. I know I can set it in the hidden menu but then it changes status with my calendar and other activities. I need to stay hidden but also available for my team.
When either clicking Quit on Teams or shutting down at the end of a work day, Teams should show a status of Offline. It currently leaves me as available and people will continue to message me when I am off for the day thinking I am available and causes confusion and frustration on both ends. When clicking Quit in Teams or shutting down the computer, it should set status as Offline.
Mostly we are using Teams in Both mobile and Business Laptop as suggested by corporate office. Because of this, if mobile is connected with Data it's showing as Available even we are out of office hours leading to misunderstandings with Clinet as we are not responding even if are at sleeping hours in midnight

I tend not to shut my laptop down overnight; with Skype I would set my status to offline when I'd finished for the day, but with Teams that isn't an option, so I shut Teams down. If I forgot to reset my status to Available with Skype that wasn't an issue, but if I forget to restart Teams...
