Enable recovery of deleted Planner Tabs in MS Teams
If you create a Planner tab in Microsoft Teams from an existing plan and then delete the plan, there is no way to recover the plan at all. This has already resulted in my lost work for our users. A change is required to allow recovery of plans deleted in error via Microsoft Teams.

This same issue happened to me. The application suggests you already ha a team for this Plan and by choosing the associated Plan (original plan) which I spend countless hours working on, it creates a double plan with the same name. By removing this double plan, it removes the buckets and tasks from original plan. The plan was created as a Tab in my channel same as the other plans in my channels. This is unacceptable.

Same as everyone else........I copied an existing plan in order to save a few keystrokes. When I modified the "new" plan by deleting tasks that weren't applicable to the new one, it deleted all the tasks from my old plan! Trust me........it will take WAY more keystrokes to try to build the old plan again (if I can even do it!) than it would have taken to just create a new one. DOUBLE NOT HAPPY!

Please implement. I also would like to be able to see my recently deleted "to do" w/suite. Just now I went to delete a task and it, apparently was refreshing so just as i hit the task, it changed and I have no idea what I deleted and I, apparently, can't see any "recently deleted" list on to do app.

Yes, we thought we'd duplicated a plan, then accidentally deleted the original. Our mistake, but there needs to be a 30 day soft recycle bin for this stuff! SAVE US FROM OURSELVES! PLEASE!

+1 Please make it possible to recover a deleted plan. + If you make a plan based on an existing one, please make a copy of it. Not a direct link to the Original plan. So if you delete the copy, the Original one stays unharmed.

Its very easy to accidentally add extra tabs, we need a way to safely remove them, and to recover any data if it goes wrong. Sharepoint etc. have recycle bins that we can do so, please expand this to Planner as well.

I have just had the same problem. We need to have a recycle bin or restore option for the planner.
I had 2 tabs using the same planner - so duplicate. I did not realise deleting one would also delete the other.
Please address this as a matter of urgency to prevent other unsuspecting users from the same -

Just found the same issue, I wanted to move a Planner Tab, but there is no move function, I was able to pick up the existing Planner in a new channel and was not aware that I could not delete it from the other channel until it was too late. There needs to be a move function and the possibility to recover.

You need to enable recovery. This is key for a enterprise environment.

If the planner is just archived, you will be able to view it on browser at https://tasks.office.com/
To reinstate it back onto MS Teams App, you'll need to go to the browser version of MS Teams and Add New Tab > Planner > Use an existing plan > [archived Planner]Mine reloaded with all users and dates assigned.
