Disable the feature for existing team members to add new members to their team
I would like to manually disable the feature that has been announced by MC177013; the ability for existing team members to request member to join a team if needed.

when it comes to school teams App it is important to cancel this feature from student side, I faced this problem ( student has Button (Add member )?
also I have created all my classes from teams desktop App but there is no option to choose between public or private !
I went to admin panel to fix it from there but it shows me error! -

This is also needed because in highly managed environments with audit and regulatory concerns, we need to centrally manage and approve all access change requests. This means the process is handled outside of Teams (because there are many systems that require access management) and it handled in tools such as ServiceNow with pre-defined processes and workflows. End users are NOT owners of teams. So this feature essentially just creates a black hole for requests to fall into which is outside of the enterprise process.

I would like the feature as well. I have an application that creates/controls the membership of some teams. In order to add a team member, they must add them through that application. I like that the default setting is that members can request other members be added, however, I'd like the ability to turn this off for some teams.
