Vacation Accrual and Tracking
I would like to be able to use Shifts as a PTO tracking System.
Each employee should have a PTO and Sick Balance that is tracked in Shifts according to their accrual rates.
When they request PTO/Sick, shifts should show both the employee and the manager how this request will affect their balance at the time the PTO/Sick is taken so we know if they will be going negative or not.
Also when the time is approved by the manager their balance should be deducted.
still not in shifts ?
How can we plan shifts, add vacations but cant see how much vacations a certain person has taken..

I can't believe this still hasn't been picked up. I think its because everyone calls it something different... leave tracking, holiday allocation, time off allocation. I've seen it called all sorts. We desperately need this functionality otherwise its off to buy yet another application from yet another vendor and yet another load of training.
This is a great and simple feature that easily bolsters the shifts app as an employee management application. Given that it already includes an avenue to request vacation and time off, it would make sense that it would also track accrued time off to make the approval process easier for Managers.
