Share a Stream video inside a Microsoft Teams meeting
Would love to share a Stream video inside a Microsoft Teams meeting. Have customers with training use cases to show small videos with audio inside a Teams meeting. Faking a web camera thru software creates audio synchronization issues and the shared desktop doesn't provide for the desktop audio like Zoom does it.
looking for a solution for this right now!
seems the 'least bad' way to do this currently is to share a link in chat to all meetign attendees and let them click it to watch on their PC.
Trying to share screen of a video stream is extremely poor experience.
Being able to share stream media during a meeting is critical for both platforms. Literally hundreds of use cases here. Please prioritize!
This is such an important integration - the synch issues playing through shared screen cause detriment to the video quality and particularly to sync of voice and captions. This should be an easy integration, please prioritize!

Yes I agree with Tom M,
It would be more beneficial to Broadcast from stream into a MS Teams Meeting.
for example ...
CEO could be addressing the company, If you have a conference room with a teams compatible conference system, where you walk in click the teams meeting to join and voila you have connected to the Stream Broadcast

Broadcasting video from stream (and other sources) in Team Meetings would be extremely useful to us.
GoToWebinar does the sharing of videos really well during meetings. If there's anyway to add that feature, it would be a great addition.

I included a youtube video in a Powerpoint presentation (no screen sharing): during a meeting I discovered that the embedded video was not showed (audio/video) in the meeting, only showed in my session. Audio/video missing also in the recorded video meeting... I think it is a problem related to this feature.

This is also exactly what I miss. When I am the moderator, I like to show a video clip. Currently I can share my screen and play the video. But the issue is that a good quality for the other participants depend on the upload bandwith of the moderator. It would be better when the stream is then hosted by a server. It would be cool if a video uploaded to the teams files (OneDrive) could be streamed. Microsoft Stream service might not be a good fit because guests would not be able to access the video.
