Pop Out/Dedicated conference & meeting window for Teams Meeting
If would be good to have a pop out dedicated window during conference call, meetings and screen sharing session like Skype for business.
Currently it is very inconvenient to continue work on TEAMS without getting calls window minimized.

The Pop-out meeting feature has been rolled out to 100% of users. You can enable the feature by going to your profile picture at the top right of Teams > Settings > General > then select Turn on new meeting experience.
Support documentation can be found at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/get-a-preview-of-new-meeting-features-04533e91-3203-4530-a1c0-8f77c0731699.

The same also for the "Chat" section of Teams. It would be useful to be able pop that into a separate window.

Without this feature its incredibly hard to to be in a meeting and make use of the the rest of the application.

While attending meeting, chatting with other is difficult / meeting window will be small if we start chatting with others.
Suggestion: why cannot you change the GUI for chatting in Teams like... chatting popup from Right side of the screen with autohide option. OR same as FB chatting. OR simple as SFB separate chatting window whenever it required... etc -

Agreed. Rarely do I have the luxury of working on one thing at a time. The multi-window / multi-task is critical to this being more closely integrated into my daily work.

One of the big faults with Teams is that in a meeting you cannot easily access files / conversations / channels and keep the presentation / meeting in focus. The ability to separate the meeting window from the Teams interface would greatly enhance meeting interaction and allow access to additional information quickly and easily for team members on the meeting.

I vote for this option

The inability to multi-task in Teams is my biggest adoption issue!

Allow Team Participants to share in a two way fashion - at the same time. User A shares Excel - User B shares Word.
Requires ability to have Team windows open at the same time, one or more monitors -

I would like to see an option to decouple/float the meeting I am in so that it is independent of the application window. Constantly I have to switch from my "in progress" meeting to my chats tab, only to have the meeting minimized to a thumbnail in the top left of the screen. I can no longer see what the presenter is sharing. I'm also unable to search for shared files/notes in the teams tab without losing the meetings window. I always have multiple monitors so I would really like to be able to throw the meeting onto one monitor and use the other to chat/search for notes & files.

When you are in a meeting and you want to send an IM/chat that is not related to the meeting/channel that you are in, have Teams open a new window for that chat. Reason: It is difficult to chat with others and still participate in the meeting.

I would like to have the option to break out the meeting into a separate window rather than have the meeting shrink into the upper-left-hand corner of the Teams window.
Some times, I have a dual screen and I want to have my meeting on a full screen on one window and address issues through chat in another window.

I use two monitors as well. During meetings, I often need to see Files that are stored on Teams, and conduct conversations with other attendees or non-attendees.

I think this will be important when Microsoft sunsets Skype for Business. Today, we can effectively hold a meeting with shared desktop and show content in Teams. But when you meet in Teams and then click over to the other content for sharing, you can't see the people you're meeting with. The whole purpose of a video meeting is so you can see reactions, engagement, etc. You lose this by not having a separate window making it less effective.

This is closely related to the more general separate-windows idea here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16926739-multi-window-for-chats-and-more

If all our team communications are in the same app as our Wiki and Notes, we really need to be able to have calls and meetings pop out in a separate window so that we can keep the call visible (e.g. full-screen on a secondary monitor) while still accessing our notes and conversations.
