Pop Out/Dedicated conference & meeting window for Teams Meeting
If would be good to have a pop out dedicated window during conference call, meetings and screen sharing session like Skype for business.
Currently it is very inconvenient to continue work on TEAMS without getting calls window minimized.

Pop out to be able to view participants as well. If I am presenting... there is no way for me to know who joined/dropped from the call, as I can't undock the participant list and have that as a visual on a second monitor.

This is an annoyance and a distraction. It needs to be under user control. I believe that is spelled out in the Constitution somewhere... :)
This really needs to be implemented ASAP.

Without this feature (like in SFB), it's nearly impossible to chat with people outside the meeting. We need separate windows for meetings and chat.

We need this feature! The worst is when someone starts chatting with you while you are in a meeting. I have multiple screens, yet I have to switch away from the shared screen to go to the chat.

NEED THIS FEATURE
I have two scenarios in Teams meetings. One is focused on shared content, where participants' video is secondary and one is focused on participants' video where shared content is secondary or even not present. This is actually not even fixed for a given meeting, but may change over the course of the meeting (like it does in in-person meetings, too).
I would like to be able to pop-out the Teams meeting into two dedicated windows
- one with the shared content (with the chat and participant list as a side bar)
- one with the participants of the meeting (e.g. the video streams)
With that, I can freely decide and optimize my screen usage. I can put the window that I am mostly looking at close to the camera to appear more natural in my video feed (i.e. almost look into the camera and not be captured from the side) and at the same time have the respective other content in peripheral vision on a second screen. If only one screen is available, I can still more freely adjust the sizes of the two windows to fit my situational needs.
This annoys me as well, there should be better options/solutions to see the Teams screen AND the video call on a bigger/separate window at the same time.

This feature is very important for trainers...we need to have students work in Teams but view the presenters screen at the same time. I'm currently using Zoom for all training sessions because this is not currently possible.
many people don't want to stop using skype because of this ...

control bar remains persistent when meeting is being recorded. Position is overtop display area. Needs to be located outside screenshare area and NOT persistent.

Please add the undocking of the meeting window. Right now the meeting window minimizes if we have to refer to the chat.

During MS Teams meeting
when you go to a channel feed or to another part of MS Teams,
the video meeting window shows in very SMALL size in the corner, it cannot be RESIZED (made bigger) or MOVED to other part of the screen, and it cannot be put to ANOTHER separate window.
So you can see a participant's shared screen only in very SMALL size, you cannot see the shared screen and your Teams window at the same time in bigger size, during meetings or training sessions.

WebEx allows you to use one monitor for the content being displayed and another for the video grid of others on the call.
I need this option to support my multi-TV meeting rooms more effectively.
I have been looking for a way to do this - Skype does it automatically when you click away from the active Skype meeting but are still connected - it becomes a small control so you can use other apps while still keeping visibility of the meeting/call/video. Teams doesn't do this so if I have to click away during the call, I then no longer have any visibility of the meeting. Please do add this functionality - if Skype can do it, why can't Teams?
Huge bug! Please squash it quickly.
This would also be great to have an "always on top" option when in a screen share or video call
