Delete Meeting Conversations in Chat
I don't want to keep meeting conversation times and history in chats tab. Please create Delete option. This shouldn't be saved at all. It is pretty silly to have a hide button instead of a Delete but you have delete button to delete the text in the conversation? I can also see security issues with this.
Please add Delete soon in chat for meeting conversation. Otherwise, advise on how to get rid of these saved meeting conversations. The hide option is not helpful.

I totally agree, this is very painful.
I totally agree, this is very annoying
I need to dleete these old meeting chats and quickly or use another platform
Agree, I had a meeting with 100+ people, and now the meeting chat has turned into a spot to ask questions rather than people funnelling them through the appropriate channels. As the organiser, I really need to be able to shut this group chat down.
I second this request. At least owners of a channel need to be able to delete meeting occurrences within the channel.
If a participant posts PII data (Personally identifiable information) to chat there is currently no method to moderate and delete it other than by the person who posted it.
Agreed. All of this. We need to be able to shut down conversations post meeting that have gotten out of control. Right now we can't and they just keep going.
Fully agree, I need to have clear chat not with all information who and when joined, I need to be able to delete chat after the meeting for example. If I have a series I have whole wall of joined and left infos!
I agree. I hate that I cannot delete anything in Chats tab. It adds to clutter.

Same issue. I created several "meet now" meetings just to test & train users in how to use the meetings. Now I don't need them and they are not pertinent to anything. They just take up space.
We need to delete them.
I agree, we have sensitive internal chat discussions using Teams, that we do not want to be archived. We need to be able to handle our internal corporate business files the way we need to, not the way Microsoft thinks we should

May be be useful especially when a conversation has occured in the wrong Teams space or channel by mistake.

I second this. If you create a group and then add Teams functionality, you can delete the meeting, but if you create a Team without creating a group, then you can't.
