when ever i have a scheduled meeting my status turns red, this is really incredibly annoying and causes potential communication issues for my business since the red tab makes people reluctant to message you.

HELLOOO, IS ANYONE FROM MICROSOFT READING THESE REQUESTS?!!!!
The issue has been suggested for more than 2 YEARS NOW...
I would really like to be able to set my own availability in Teams. I do a lot of work that is not on my computer, but that does not mean I am not there. I do not want bosses and colleagues thinking I am not available to them when I am actually there for them. This is ridiculous that this is still an issue as it has been complained about for years now.

I would like to see this similar to Skype, where you have the option to set a time limit before your status automatically changes to "Away". It's really frustrating to have colleagues trying to reach you but can't because your status automatically changed to "Away" when you are still working but in a different window.

This is a very annoying feature - please make it optional - I literally have more than 100 users complaining about it.

The status, sync with outlook agenda is totally unworkable.
Our agenda holds all activities as planned, but is not a representation of when we are available or not. So everyone is ignoring the status of other users internal/external. -

The user should be able to override the status and set how long to wait before marking them away like you can in Skype.
PLEASE PROVIDE ACCESS TO END USERS

This should be a TOP priority for the Teams UX developers. If I am not touching my computer for 5 minutes, my status moves to 'Idle' with the yellow clock. This will happen even if I am marked "Busy" and then people send me a message and interrupt - and I do the same thing to them ALL DAY LONG. Completely defeats the purpose of the status. It needs to be able to be customized by idle time as in Skype. Leave it to the user to determine how long before Idle shows.

It is incredible you cannot choose to not set the "away" mode automatically, sometimes I go for a glass of water and when come back it is already changed. Please fix this.

I'm with the people who say that they cancel a meeting in Outlook, yet show up in Teams as "in a meeting". I missed calls from a director because I was "busy" even though the meeting that had indicated that I was busy had been cancelled.

Please fix the issue with auto marking a user’s status as away after a few minutes. It’s insane to expect users to constantly click their mouse or keyboard in order for the status to show as available.
Many people have job tasks that are not done on a computer but does not mean they are not at their desk and available for communication.
It’s mind blowing that MS still doesn’t have this capability when other platforms such as Skype had that capability built in from the start.

Let us choose our length of time to be flagged as away or at least increase your default. Also, I know when I'm busy and not busy - don't decide for me.
