Disable auto-syncing of Availability status with Outlook calendar
Please also allow users to turn off auto-syncing of Availability status with their Outlook calendar and other sources.
Please fix this feature soon!
Fix this! We should be able to set how long our status is showing.

Microsoft Teams Voice is completely useless because of this. No one can reach me!?!?

Fix it please! The availability should always be controlled by the end user.
Indeed! Please also allow users to turn off auto-syncing of Availability status with their Outlook calendar.
I manage more than 5 calendars and always have meeting on my calendar that I don't attend. Please allow me to disable this feature so I am not always out of the office.

Microsoft please fix this.

Definitely need to be able to alter idle time and auto sync. This option should have been carried over from skype for business/lync
This is driving me crazy to have to change my status daily. Please find a solution!

You should be able to set timeouts via the TEAMS GUI so say 10 mins or even 3 hrs to change from online to inactive. We have staff that work on several systems at once so may not be on their PC but have it on a screen so they can respond should something pop up. They are clearly available but don't appear so.
They may also be "in a meeting" but still available, as they may be listening in to a call or have blocked out their cal for something but want to be available should they be required. So some way to manage the interaction with outlook calendar would be good also.
I am suprised these features are not already available n in TEAMS.

Our organizatoin needs this also. Many users utilize their calendar for organizing their day but they are typically available. When an item is on their calendar, it is changing their status to busy. We need it to default to available unless they join an online meeting or manually change it.
I discovered it also sets you out of office after some hours, and do not come back until you open the application again. What a nonsense..

We are new to 365 and Teams and this issue is all over the place. Users are set to a variety of statuses somewhat randomly and mostly incorrectly. The issue was raised over a year and a half ago on the Microsoft Tech Community pages and it is still an issue. If this is the only feedback portal for Teams, how is it at over 1,100 votes with no response from Microsoft?
Here's another vote for this issue. Please allow separation of status between Teams and Outlook.

I support this option to let user decide if they want calendar items to sync to Teams availability. There are times when quick response is still possible wile there is a scheduled event going on.
I need my team to know that I am available by Teams chat, and it does not work to have its Status auto-change based on what's in my Outlook calendar. I often use my calendar to reserve time for certain work-related activities - but I am still at my desk in front of the computer (and need to be available for chat messages).
Please either allow the disabling of auto-sync, or provide another way, such as a pop-up requesting that Teams Status be changed (based on it finding an appointment on the calendar).

It is stunningly myopic for Teams to "think" it's better suited to determining a user's availability, than the user himself or herself. What were you thinking, not making it completely configurable? It's 2019.
PLEASE allow users to select length of time before Teams switches to “Away” automatically! I work on two different computers and it’s difficult for my teammates to know that I’m still at my desk working, just on the other computer. So frustrating!!!! Skype allowed this feature and I was able to keep my staff updated on my availability so much better.

In Skype we were able to change setting to 20 minutes before auto AWAY should up, I cant even go to the bathroom and back before the setting auto change, how can we manually do this????????????
Please follow the paradigm set forth in Skype. Basically allowing the actual end user the ability to change their status, including AVAILABLE.
Agree. Please allow users to set their away and available time frames.
