Support Email Addresses copied from Outlook in "Schedule Meeting" dialogs
Copying an Email Address from Outlook email header (e.g. From:, CC:) results in the (RFC5322?) email address format:
Firstname Lastname <firstname.lastname@example.com>
Right-clicking an email in the body of an email returns a "mailto:" URI, e.g.:
mailto:firstname.lastname@example.com
When creating a meeting, these formats are not recognised as a valid email email address, so an email address copied from Outlook cannot be pasted into the "Invite People" field.
Steps:
- Right-Click name in Outlook Email "From" header and click copy
- In Teams, click "Meetings" and "Schedule a Meeting"
- Click in "Invite People" and paste address
Expected Result:
Email address added to list of invitees
Actual Result:
"We couldn't find any matches"
