FaceTime on my iPhone has been replaced by Teams, which doesn't work. I'm not able to make video calls.
Teams will be uninstalled until a workaround or fix is implemented.
It's going on 2 years and this problem has still not been fixed.
Another reason why Apple is eating Microsoft's lunch.

WTF Microsoft! I need to use Teams but now I can’t use FaceTime? I couldn’t FaceTime my elderly father-in-law today! I didn’t sign up for this. I’m deleting Teams on all my devices and using the Teams website when I need it. And now I have to figure out how to restore FaceTime so I can accept and make calls.
Seriously Microsoft fix it. I need teams for work & in this stupid pandemic we need to talk to our families!
Everytime I open MS Teams on MacOS, it changes the "Default for calls" to MS Teams instead of Facetime. I have to manually change the default to Facetime again in the Facetime preferences. This is beyond annoying and I don't like MS Teams changing the default without asking me everytime. Also I didn't find a setting in MS Teams that allows to change this behavior. Very "arrogant" from MS. Please change!
I am going to uninstall Teams off my phone. this is ridiculous. Apple says it's a Microsoft Teams issue. VERY pissy that I have to do this when I need it for work.I have tried everything to try and fix this and teams just takes over.
Go to settings in iPhone and scroll down to “Teams” app then turn off the “allow Teams to access contacts”. This fixed the problem for me.
Seriously. I can't even facetime my friends because I have to use Teams for work on my phone! Come on Microsoft this is ridiculous! Fix it now!!

This is BS! Microsoft! fix it
I have the same problem on my Mac. I use TEAMS for work, and often I can't make calls on FaceTime because the "Default for calls" within FaceTime keeps being changed from FaceTime to TEAMS. So far I see no solution other than to continually go to FaceTime Preferences to change the default back to FaceTime - each time I want to make a call. This is time consuming and annoying.
Every time I relaunch Microsoft Teams it updates and resets my FaceTime default for out going calls to Microsoft Teams. This is highly annoying!!!! It's clear from the treads below that Microsoft knows about this DEFECT... When will Mircrosoft correct this DEFECT?
This is happening on my MacBook Pro as well. I have tried deleting Teams and re-installing it but that doesn't seem to help.
Team does replace facetime as the default video icon in contacts on an iphone, even if you have not allowed Teams access to your contacts. This is not a work phone...No IT Admin has modified my settings. The only way I have found to get facetime back via peoples contacts is sign out of the Teams app in the app setting. This is not acceptable. Upon re-logging into Teams, I now appear to have a choice when I touch the "Facetime" icon in an individuals contact. Let's see it it lasts.

I have a private iPad, and the bl..dy Microsoft S-word replaced FaceTime.
Please Microsoft, stop destroying the apple tools that work brillant with your bullS-...

Go to Settings > Teams and uncheck Contacts. This will make it so that teams does not have access to your contacts.
After installing Microsoft teams, face time button now reads video and i can't facetime people. I like Teams for work, however not for personal use on my iPhone. Fix fast or I am going to remove teams. - Richard
Same thing happened on my personal phone.

this must be a work phone, MS teams doesn't replace facetime, this might have been done by your work IT admin
