Video isn't working We couldn't use your webcam for video.
When using the video call feature for meetings, I get the error: "Video isn't working
We couldn't use your webcam for video." However, my webcam works for other programs. Would like this to be resolved, as I use video conferencing for work often.

The engineering team continues to actively investigate reports of camera issues.
Some things to try/be aware of:
1) Resolved: Windows Insider build 19592 had a regression that caused cameras not to work in Teams. As others on this thread have stated, this has been resolved in 19603 – thanks for confirming!
2) Issues on Windows 10: When your camera isn’t working in Windows 10, it might be that the drivers are missing after a recent update. It’s also possible that your anti-virus program is blocking the camera or your privacy settings don’t allow camera access for some apps. This help page has a virtual agent to help resolve those issues: https://support.microsoft.com/help/13753/windows-10-camera-does-not-work
3) Issues on Mac: Many times the issue is that Teams doesn’t have access to the camera. Please see this apple support article to resolve.
https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/control-access-to-your-camera-on-mac-mchlf6d108da/mac
4) If you are still encountering problems, and are willing to give us further information, please send mail with your OS version and Teams version to teamsml@microsoft.com and someone will reach out to you for further information if needed.
Thank you!

Just had the same issue. I have been able to use Logi Capture for about half a year now, and it suddenly stopped working. I had the Version 2.04.13 installed and it worked until a recent Windows Update. However, if I de-install Logi Capture and install the Version 2.02.155 (make sure to disable Auto-Update) it works with the current version of Teams. So Logi Capture did work with its newer version, then suddenly stopped, and now you have to install an older Version to make it work in Teams again.

My camera had worked fine with teams meeting in the past and still works with other other programs. It is built-in to the computer. Today there was no video in teams meeting. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it.

Almost all of our company's laptops have this problem that started last week. Updating the cam driver helped temporarily but they're back to being BUSY again and can't be used in Teams!

Same here. Video stopped working yesterday (version: 1.3.00.30866).
Cam works still in any other program like a charm and therefor using the web version of Teams is a temporary solution.
(of course i tried: un-/reinstall teams, driver, perform windows updates, reboots...)edit:
i rolled back the last windows update kb4586793, installed it again... and the cam works again ?! ... whatever. -

Hello! I use Canon M50 as a webcam, but only with Teams my picture is mirrored, in other applications all is ok. How to switch from mirror mode to real?

MacOS Catalina 10.15.7
Teams app verison 1.3.00.28778
Logitech C920 Pro HD camera and Logi Capture (as software based camera). The actual hardware (C920) shows up in Teams' camera list, but Logi Capture does not. Works fine with Zoom. I have the Logi Capture app running, I've shut down Teams and started it back up to see if Logi Capture appears in the list and it does not.

I have this problem and get that error message in web browsers in Windows 10 following the 20H2 update. Works fine in the Teams application and in other apps, just not with Edge browser.

Thank you for suggesting Kaspersky, I did not think of checking my internet security. Within Kaspersky total security. If you click on 'Privacy Protection' and then turn off Webcam Protection (Green colour means on and the grey colour means off) Restart the call and bingo!

Hi,
My Logitech C920 does not work with the native drivers BUT it does work if I start the Logi Capture app and then use that as the source in Teams.

Having this too. Skype works fine and can use my camera. It's just Teams shows "Preview". It has oddly worked twice, but most of the time it just shows empty screen with the word "Preview".

@Matt Allison if you get this can you explain how you go to the settings you mentioned for the zoom level of the camera? I have looked everywhere I can think off haha. Any help would be really appreciated.
