Multiple chat windows Multitask
Feature from Skype for business when I am in a meeting where screen share is occurring I typically like to continue to engage with chat discussions with people that are not part of that current running meeting. With Teams you have to stay in the share or the chat session directly and not able to easily to multi-task. The best thing I could say is needed is ability to pop out a chat window with additional members without having to flip back and forth so I can put my meeting that is shared on a 2nd monitor while being able to continue a chat session without impacting my ability to watch the meeting that is taking place.

The lack of this feature is paralyzing for us. When we are hosting webinars, we open a group chat to communicate with each other and our speakers, or to point out questions that have been posed in the chat window of the presentation. The person running the presentation, MUST be able to see that AND various chat windows to stay on top of things. Without this function, we cannot use TEAMs for this critical part of our business.
All of the following tickets (and I'm sure there are more) seem to be asking for the same thing: When chatting with multiple people at the same time, you have to keep switching back and forth in the left panel and it feels very clunky. We all want an easier way to have separate conversations with multiple people at once.
