Will it be possible to have a tab (located next to Recent and Contacts) that will show the history or hidden chats since if they are unable to be deleted at this time?
It could be called "Hidden" or "History" allowing users to go back and view this information without having to start a new chat or search.
Currently the Recent tab is full and cluttered as we are unable to delete chats; Only hide the conversation. Once it is hidden the only way to retrieve it is to search for the user or the chat topics.
It would be great to have a way to mass hide selected private chats to quickly decluttered and have a clean chat every day.

My issue is that there is a privacy concern with Teams Hidden Chat limitations. If I can't archive active chats or have the option to hide and unhide with ease of accessibility that implies that I have to keep all chats in the chat box since I can't be expected to know my chat contacts and topics always to refer back to. But this poses a risk in privacy for when I need to present my screen during a teams meeting. I can't hide the chat, but then I can't reveal those either. We need the option to both hide/unhide or simply archive and go back to - like Whatsapp features. Thanks.

Please combine this request with the 5 or so others like it so that a proper tally of the number of users who would like to see this feature can be properly determined.
I dont have chat option
It's interesting that you can filter for Muted chats, but not Hidden chats. An alternative to allowing a means to show hidden chats would be to add a filter to return all Hidden chats!
Completely agree, in my organisation we have hundreds of employees, I hid a chat from one member but realised I actually needed to refer to it. Unfortunately I don't remember the persons name so I have no way to 'look them up and unhide them!' Needs to be an option to look up all hidden chats please

To those who need to keep a visual order of the conversations by hiding some passed conversations this idea fits 100% with my need.
Actually I was surprised not to find a repository same as we have for Skype: The Conversations History.
I am surprised as well to find such a few number of requests related with this same topic and such an insignificant amount of votes on this.
