out of office pop up
In our group chat, when a user's status is set to out of office, an extremely annoying, dark gray box appears and constantly reminds me this person is out of office and may not respond. I can quickly view this information and don't need the reminder every time I re-enter the chat. Thanks
Remove it or set a way for us to dismiss because I agree, this is completely useless after the first time you see it.

Irritating and useless.
please remove it
Yes is annoying especially when ppl are gone longer vacation and everybody in team knows about it.
This is extremely annoying and truly a confusing oversight!
Yes this is annoying, but even worse, is its constant recurrence, even after being dismissed with the close box. Please fix this.
This is VERY ANNOYING!!! Please make this go away, and not to appear EVERY TIME we get into any chat even after dismissing it. PLEASE, OH PLEASE OH PLEASE!!!
I know that each one of us, users, is but a insignificant grain of sand in this majestic dune of the userbase. And that my voice can't possible sway your priorities. BUT PLEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!

I recommend this box is displayed only once, and then suppressed after it's been acknowledged (similar to how Outlook sends an out of office reply just once, and not for subsequent emails). There already is at least one other visual indicator of the status in Teams (the little bubble next to the user's name).

Have the same issue. Yes, I am aware the person who sits next to me is not in the office today, thanks for reminding me every 10 seconds.
Once that notification is x'd out, it should not reappear until the next day, at the earliest.
