Ability to display user calendar in chat-tab
Please add ability to display users Outlook calendar on its own tab when chatting. Like the organization view. It would help a lot when you are planning a meeting and you don't have to jump in to Outlook to find time that suits for the both of you.

I use the availability view in Delve to see if my counterpart will be available for a chat, but it would be much more efficient if I could have a similar view directly in Teams. Attach a screenshot from Delve, with the content missing in Teams highlighted

Bump.
Scheduling a new meeting is not always the purpose of checking availability.
Being able to quickly check someone's future availability in teams, perhaps by adding an icon under their roll-over details, the same way outlook is able to show a pop-up of your personal calendar when using the HOME tab, would be efficient and should serve as a solution to many of the challenges detailed in the other comments. -

In Teams:
1) Go to your calendar
2) Click on the "+New meeting" button
3) Switch to the "Scheduling Assistant" tab
4) Click "Add required attendees" and choose however many people you would like
5) You will be able to see what they have scheduled on one screen in a shared calendar -

This would be useful as more areas are using MS Teams to schedule meetings.

Or perhaps take it a step further and mimic what Skype did when hovering the cursor over participants in Outlook - Jane (will be available at 3pm), Joe (available) , etc.

If it could show "In Meeting Until XX:XX" would be very helpful. instead of just showing their current status.

We have to jump into Outlook and then find their calendar to see what's happening when it says, "In a meeting". More info (respective privacy/share settings) would be useful.
i.e. knowing when I can call them after their meeting.

I completely agree - I manage a large (18 people) field team , use MS-Teams constantly and really need their calendar information right at my fingertips. I have to coach each person individually to add a website tab to the chat that holds the published OWA HTML link to their calendar. From that point on, it works great.
What I would like to see is an option to create a tab that would ask the user if they wish to share their personal OWA calendar as a HTML link in this type of tab. This would seem to be a very simple addition yet would eliminate a series of steps that are tedious to coach people through over and over again. Even better would be the option to request that from someone where all they have to do is grant permission and it happens

Completely agree with this - Teams is awesome, but doesn't take full account of the rest of our collaboration, especially around the calendar. Teams should be smart enough to tap the calendar for all members of a chat. You can use the Website tab to show their OWA calendar, but it has to be set up by hand and only can show one person at a time.

I'm surprised this suggestion hasn't got more votes as I hit it *all* the time. You go to chat to somebody and their status is "In a meeting". So you immediately want to know how long for. So you have to manually open their calendar. A link to the calendar view on the website would be a quick fix.

And from the calendar view, allow the user to create a meeting! (Btw, love Teams!!)
