Guest user in Shifts
Would like to add guest users in Shifts as they work alongside other team members.

Due to other priorities, this has been moved to the backlog. We will update you as we evaluate in the future.

We NEED this to happen. Only 5-7 of our employees have employee accounts that can be added to shifts right now, though we are full time and do not need to be scheduled. Our 30-40 other employees are part time and are only guests within teams; they are the ones that need to be scheduled.

We experience the same problem! It is very important that guest users also can get access to Shifts in Microsoft Teams! This is an urgent matter! Please make this a priority.

Not being able to use Shifts with guest accounts is a huge problem and if we cant get the feature we will just need to move away from Shifts (and possible Teams) altogether to a different system.
This will impact the productivity of our team very significantly. -

Please implement shifts for guest users. Even just the ability to view

I feel like many of the options that would be good for my business are locked because not all people are centered in my employment group. Adding them as guest users would be vital. However, it feels like I am limited to only using people in my specific employment group. This limits our ability to use this software for our success. Our options would be request a change or find another software option that allows better access for all people associated with my business

I work at a production facility - we're looking for something for teamleaders to keep track of scheduled holidays for production worker's etc.
We are moving a lot of our communications, etc. to Teams and would like to utilize this feature however, doesn't seem feasible as all of our production worker's don't have emails within the company.
Is there going to be a feature that we can add "team members" without email addresses... this is moreso for tracking purposes for the team leaders and the production workers don't need to see the schedule.
Otherwise, we'll just stick to Outlook!

This feature is a waste of time without the ability to add guest from teams. I wasnt aware of this prior to spending the last two days setting up teams...We use Office 365 to manage our businesses, but theres a reason i hate using MS..its complicated, cumbersome and often does not work as is this example. Funny how in the ios ecosystem everything works well together. another major fail in my opinion and another useless application which we won't be using.

Would be a really useful feature as we employ many part timer staff who rotate on a quartly basis due to Uni etc so being able to incorporate them or have a temp licence just for shifts which is at a discounted rate would be rather helpful

@Alex (Teams Engineering, Microsoft Teams) I see this is a planned feature but do we have any update on WHEN? Would love to utilize this platform but it is useless for us if we cannot use with guest users.

Will this functionality be confirmed / available in Shifts by the time Staffhub becomes redundant? Without it, we wont be able to utilise Shifts AT ALL and would need to look into alternative programs.

This is essential to us using this feature.

Really need this future,... because licensing all our frontline emoployee's would be pointless as they do not need anything in office 365, not to mention expensive.

Agree with a number of people here - we have casual staff who participate in Teams but don't need the rest of the 365 licence. It would be very helpful for them to be able to use Shifts. Also to track their hours in Shifts - I understand this was possible in StaffHub?
