Allow setting a shift as recurring with beginning and end dates
Thank you for your feedback! We are hard at work improving the Shifts app experience including adding recurring shifts. In the meantime, we wanted to share some tips and tricks to help with some pain-points mentioned:
1) Make Edits to Your Schedule (Delete, Undo, Minor Copy Edits): Shifts works similarly to Excel in certain regards, so make sure to highlight shifts with your mouse and utilize keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z) to copy, delete, or undo actions. We find it helpful doing this particularly in month view and week view.
2) Copy Button: Use the copy button on the top right to copy any timeframe you need for the entire schedule.
3) Search for Shifts in Creation Phase: When creating a shift, utilize the search command to find shifts that have already been created in the past.
We’ll keep you posted when we have more news!

This should probably not be on a backlog.
This is the only reason we have to use 3rd party for shifts
This is a useless app without this functionality. It has been almost a year - take it off the backlog.
Without this feature included, using Shifts is VERY frustrating!!
Please add a recurring shift option. The copy schedule is really messing me up. It asks for a range and doesn't even copy the whole range and it is adding duplicate cells on weeks that i now have to delete:(
I don't see how Shifts is useful if there's no way to make a shift recurring. I wonder what the idea behind its design was if not to include it with the launch?
I made seven days in one week, and it doesn't just stop there- it happens over and over again.

This is the tool I need as we are moving to an O365 environment, but I can't justify the time to enter every single shift every single week. How long until there is at least an update on this issue?

Can we move this to the front log please? If people work the same schedules over and over, having to copy and paste them in Shifts is annoying at best.
Dev's really need to get their sh** together and employment this feature, otherwise the shifts management system is useless.
#Plus 1 to that, I'd really like recurring shifts!
can we get an update on where this is in the backlog please? last comment is from March 2019

This definitely needs to be a high priority otherwise it's horrendous for workforce management - even with small teams! I'm surprised that as a basic workforce management tool it's not already in place...

When could we finally get this important improovement???

Any idea if this is going to happen? It is very time consuming to set up schedules without it.
This should be fantastic feature for daily work and even better for contracted work terms
This is really needed. Makes it kindof useless without it. What is the point of a computer if we are doing the mundane part.

I can push this to 1000's of employees if you include this function.

We need this for our transition for weekly deployment schedule.
This is a major need. Adding this would allow me to push Teams adoption to several larger groups.
Right now I have groups managing huge field teams thru a shared Outlook calendar. They are begging for a more streamlined process but this is holding us back.
In turn that is holding us back from a more robust Teams adoption in general. No one wants to add another app to their daily routine unless it has the functionality they need.

A definite requirement. Any updates on when this might happen?
