If the primary ISP goes down momentarily, the router switches to the backup ISP. Teams gets disconnected and takes few minutes to connect via the backup connection. With Zoom, there is just a second of freeze when this happens.

I have used the program since before version 1, I might have seen this 10 times tops, and I always blamed might own network.

Will stop working when trying to make a call. No such issues with Slack.

Absolutely pathetic lack of progress on this. Instead of closing of the root issue (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/17219609-teams-uses-600mb-and-is-super-slow) to try and get it off the "Top ideas" list, please put in the work to address the MANY MANY issues with Teams' performance on every platform. It has been YEARS.

Restart your Router. Seems that Teams leaves Zombie-Handles.

We are having this issue as well. Microsoft please let us know what is being done to fix these issues.

Is it necessary for MS Teams to open so many sessions?
Skype for business works fine with 500 session per host limit on router.
MS Teams often does not switch to online status even with 2000 session per host limit.

We suspect this is due to high memory and bandwidth use but we cannot rely on Teams with external users and and now use Zoom externally - we revert to Zoom if Teams fails which is frequent - please resolve this

Reconnecting…" both in Desktop/Web
Hi,
I'm an IT Support and just recently I received many tickets about MS Teams having this notification "We ran into a problem. Reconnecting…"
This notification is recurring every 15 to 20 minutes and will be reconnected around after 5 minutes. I am supporting users globally so I'm sure that this is not device related problem.
I tried to sign out, uninstall MS Teams, restart the device, install the latest version from web and sign in. But still no luck.
Is there currently MS Teams issue right now?
Thanks!

The same thing happens to me, every time I make a VPN connection, after a while Teams and the applications of the Office 365 suite are disconnected, even if you try to reconnect it does not do so, until closing the VPN connection, in which they usually return to reconnect. Please solve as soon as possible.

Have to quit and restart app every time I disconnect from VPN, meaning every time machine sleeps. It asks me to reconnect to my account but never successfully does so.

What is even worse user experience is when laptop awakes from sleep, you always have to open the app, otherwise it is showing as no connection and your status is offline.
