outlook integrations for shifts
Once a user is assigned a schedule within shifts the schedule should sync to their outlook calendar.
It would also be nice to see Available shifts in outlook and be able to accept them (or at least link to the shift in teams to be able to accept)

Integration with Outlook is planned. We will update you as we have more details.
Thanks.

We also started using Shifts. Love it! Makes live as a sceduler a lot easier :-)
Would love to be able to make a connection with the outlook calandar.
I see here, that the request was made more than several times. Would be a nice Christmass present! -

Will integration be available to push a Shifts schedule to a shared Outlook calendar? For our teams only tracking PTO on a shift schedule, this would be very desirable. It would eliminate the need for team owners to post a Day Note for every approval of time off (for each day approved) which we are doing to avoid having to scroll down through all 30 staff members to see who is out of the office.

Is Microsoft taking us seriously? How is it possible that there is no update or reaction in 1,5 year from their site.

Integration with Outlook is planned. We will update you as we have more details. And here we are 2 years later still having to wade through onerous Flows that require insane amounts of Flow knowledge to get going. How was it ever conceived that a Shifts user wouldn't use an Outlook calendar to plan out their day?

Ideally, (one of the options) of how this would work is to change the workweek white background/grey background settings in Outlook for each day as shifts are assigned or changed.
Assigned shift hours are white; everything else is grey.
In an ideal world, it should be an optional setting to mark someone as busy/unavailable outside of their shift hours (perhaps a per employee option, as some people [notably more senior] are likely to work considerable hours outside of "shift" hours.
A shift event may be another option people want, but for most, the simple visual indication of when their shift is from the white/grey schedule block background colour pattern would be perfect.

I second, third, etc this request! We have a large organization and a lot of the departments are trying to migrate to shifts but this is a HUGE limitation with getting groups on board.

Please Microsoft.... Make this feature available ASAP. This is a huge bottle neck for us.
