outlook integrations for shifts
Once a user is assigned a schedule within shifts the schedule should sync to their outlook calendar.
It would also be nice to see Available shifts in outlook and be able to accept them (or at least link to the shift in teams to be able to accept)
Integration with Outlook is planned. We will update you as we have more details.
I was hoping this has already been implemented :(

Please integrate Shifts schedule with the Free/Busy feature of Outlook. Shifts is really nice but the lack of integration with the Free/Busy feature and presence is really frustrating. We should be updating only the Shifts app and the information should sync across all Microsoft applications such as Outlook and Teams.

when will it be ready? We are using Teams, would also like to use Shifts with that great feature to sync Shifts with the Outlook Calendar. It is almost a year ago you guys said it is planned,... but no update yet?

We have just moved to using Teams and the Shifts tool for scheduling. It is imperative that we are able to sync Shifts with our Outlook calendar so when will this be integrated please???
I see that this has been an issue for a long time now and there has only been a solitary response from Alex.
Come on guys...give us some idea of a time frame please.
When is this functionality going to happen this is a nightmare. We are considering switching provider due to this issue.

Please look into this again, we use shifts heavily and having to have redundant calendars is tough when the shifts are not on obviously repeating schedules.

I created a Microsoft Flow which accomplishes the task of copying events over from a predefined time period from Microsoft Shifts to Outlook or Google Calendar (two different flows).
* Add everyone's shifts or just your shifts
* Custom event name
* Delete/remove events from your calendar using the name you give the event
* Remove shifts already created as events
Please visit my GitHub (link below) for links and documentation for setup and usage of the Flows! You can set them up easily and configure them how you wish! If you like them, please star my repo or feel free to buy me a coffee! P.S. I am submitting these flows as templates to Microsoft Power Automate in hopes that they'll be added to the public gallery! Truly an awesome time we live in when anyone can develop useful solutions!

My goodness - I can't believe Skype can sync with my Outlook calendar to show whether I'm in the office or not but MS Teams cannot. It looks like this was being worked on in March - it's almost the end of 2019 and we are losing Skype as our add-in next month. Please Microsoft - get Teams to sync so folks can see whether I'm available or not without me having to remember to manually change my status!!!!! Thank you.
Hi Alex, is there any further progress or idea of a timeline on this? As mentioned by others, it's makes no sense to check shifts in separate location to the main business calendar. Also the less techie staff in our community & voluntary sector are still getting used to digital calendars! 😏🙄 Please respond with any kind of a timeline, even if its a long one.
That would nice feature
I am really struggling with the migration from Staffhub to Teams Shifts since October 2019 when Microsoft announced for the first time the deadline. After the first fear we were walking into the dark with the Flow connectors in order to keep outlook calendar in sync and nobody knew about Its fate. Now It passed 2 months and the story is still the same. Looking the number of users asking for the Shift integration with Outlook, I can't understand why there's so lack of information.
My real concern is in regard with the missing features in order to delete or update the shifts on Outlook, with Staffhub there was such trigger, why It is missing with Shift!
Can we at least have a Flow to do this as a workaround in the meantime?

Any update on this function. Incredibly important
To bad still no response when it will be deployed
And going the other way... we are using shifts as an office-wide "who is in" book, while individuals control their own calendars in outlook. The ability to do a sweep for "out of the office" appointments and have them populate shifts for individuals would be a good start to avoid all the manual double-accounting that goes on
This update would be great, please and thank you!
