Shifts - Delete/Remove Schedule for Team
Allow the Deletion or Removal of a Schedule for a Team. Currently there is no option through the Desktop, Web or Mobile App.
This app keeps allowing an * in a shift when deleted.
also if someone takes Vacation and then remove sit a whole * block is visualized.
microsoft please correct this bug
So hope this helps everyone: I found a way to delete a schedule by manually removing all assigned and unassigned schedules in the team. Then I exported the schedule and imported a new one with only one shift assigned to a team member using the import template. After import, delete the assigned shift, then attempt to delete the schedule from the team. Those steps worked for me and I hope that helps all of you.

It's very frustrating to me is I have the same issue that I added Shifts to a Team to test it and I can't get rig of it or delete it at all. What's more frustrating reading this chain is that I don't see one response from Microsoft. I have several business interest and would love to use this if they get it figured out as it look like it could be a great app. Fix it!
WTF Microsoft. Who missed this one? Get it sorted. need to delete shifts so I can create new ones

Please get this Sorted...NOW...

How do I delete an extra shift erroneously placed on the employee?
Not having a delete feature creates Havok within the app.
After reading through all the comments, it seems as if Microsoft would implement this feature sooner rather than later.
Now to find an app that works and is user friendly.
Have created a team schedule on Shift of Teams, however per checking I can no longer find the sched as well as the create button. Whenever I click the Shift it says "It looks like there aren't any team schedules for you yet".
Does it mean I am not allowed to create since I am not an Admin? How come I was able to create before then?
Can you help me find the "Create button" for new shift?
Will appreciate it thanks!

I had this problem before where a shift was deleted and remains empty and marked with a star indicator. When I printed the schedule, it kept showing the old assigned shift as if I hadn't removed it before. Once I click onto the scheduled shift and choose "Share", the star on the empty shift is gone, thus allowing me to schedule the shift again.
I think somehow after deleting a shift, it still needs to be "shared" to become effective. See if this applies to some of the reported cases.

Note to self... read forums before creating a "test" anything. Oh well.
Almost 1 yr old for a simple delete, any update here?
Up Vote, Thought I would set up a Test Shift only to find I can't delete it. What is with that?, unbelievable. Next they will create a file system that doesn't allow you to delete files. Top marks for this lot.
Pretty disgraceful roll-out of apps that cannot be renamed.
Should have stayed StaffHub until all functionality was available in Shifts.
Having to up vote basic functionality. Please.
MS get your act together.

Up Vote, why on Earth would you not allow (or program from the start) a way for the Shifts schedules to be removed?
ALSO, it's impossible to uninstall the app from your teams. Which is incredibly ridiculous, because people don't always know if they will use an app at all. For example, I have a private channel in one of my teams that I use to test out new or different apps on my own before implementing them fully, which is what I was doing with Shifts, however I am now stuck with it whether I want it or not.
I'm chiming in as well because this must be addressed. Owners of a team should be able to delete a schedule. This is a huge issue. Microsoft, please fix!

This is a HUGE issue. I should be able to remove the Shifts app or a schedule from a Team. I also should be able to delete or edit a Request after it's been approved in Shifts. Any updates to this, Microsoft?

Basic functionality needs to exist. The fact that I can't delete a schedule once it is created is crazy to me.
I made a week's work of scheduling and it shows the shifts grayed out for open shifts, as I had assigned hours to each person/group. However it does not calculate the hours and I can't delete a row I put in by accident.

What is the status of this feature?
