Shifts: Make color themes editable
We finally have Shifts but I now cannot change the Theme colour of my time type off. Please make this editable like in StaffHub. So I can give the colour blue not the name blue but anything I would like and is useful for our users.

More than 2 1/2 themes should be something that is actionable for MS Teams.
More than 2 should not be hard.
The high contrast is not very usable - *reason for this is - your status colors are different, hard to tell by first glance.
*Could keep original status colors with the icons for Available, Away, etc.,

We need the colours to be editable... It would make such a huge difference.
If i could have "Work from home" instead of Blue, that brings already a lot of value. -

We have a SharePoint Calendar that has the Ins and Outs, for each employee. They are color coded by type. Work from home, jobsite visit, In Late, Sick, PTO etc. We use those and it's easy to see at a glance. If these get color coded then we might be able to use this instead of the SharePoint calendar.

Being able to assign colours to varies requests is really important to be able to use

Being able to modify the color when a user is requesting would be ideal... if not, being able to change the color of the time off using Flow would be great... have configured auto approve now but every time off comes through as Grey.

Is the Shifts color not resolved yet?

Slack offers this- and is VERY easily editable and changeable. With the addition of Skype being folded into Teams, this is now an must have - as purple or dark mode simply don't work well visually.
If Slack can do it, I'm certain the dev working on Teams can easily do it -

It would be great to be able to assign color during the import function

I would love to be able to lock down colours to vacation types, shifts, or workers. - why not allow a colour wheel, and allow people to pick the colour and name of colour as they want? Locking it down to a few seem like very 1990s.

Definitely it would help a lot being able to change the color description to something more descriptive than just the color.
We use colors for morning, mid shift, afternoon and evenings, it would be nice to be able to add that description to the color instead of having to remember color-shift match.

+1 for Marc's proposal. Pre configured color per type of event

Each team member has a color for their shift. It would be nice if there were more colors. Or if the existing colors had a greater difference between the shades. ie. Yellow and Dark Yellow are too similar.

Different default theme for each Reason of Time off request in Shifts
It would be great to be able put a different color theme for each configure Time off request like we can do for the icon. That will help having the schedule more visual with standard colors and rapidly identify the type of leave
