icon for channels
Ability to add icons for channels. Currently only we are allowed to add icons for Teams. Would be great if we have the ability to customize the channels as well. It would make more sense if the channels keep growing and it would be really easy to identify the channels.

we should be able to set icons, color tabs, and anything that will allow us to easily select the correct channels - at the least we should be able to have identifiable channel icons.

I attached the channels and no I read basically "General" "General" "General".
Because channels have a smaller user group less people have to agree on the icon. Therefore, I do not want to use the Teams icon for that. -

This would help to identify channels more easily especially as the number grows.

The number of channels within Teams will increase over time. I am part of several Teams with over 25 channels in each, which is a lot to look through. Not saying alphabetical order isn't a big help, but being able to quickly locate a channel visually by way of an icon would definitely help. It'll also just look better.

It would be great "to show" users that there are guest members in the channel by looking at a icon
Then users can be more careful on chat, conversations and file uploadsHave anyone from Microsoft replied on this?

Came here to suggest the same thing. Would definitely help in teams with lots of channels.
