join meeting audio: teams calls phone
not a new idea but, please allow us to choose more audio options while dialing into a meeting, this was the most useful thing in s4b I could choose to join with skype for bus, not to join audio, or have a handy list of phone numbers for skype to automatically call. please bring that to teams, my users are complaining so much about this little feature,

Now that my company has transitioned from webex to teams, i am very concerned about the impact a poor internet connection may have on my ability to participate in essential meetings. Pairing my phone number with my video/photo in teams would go a long way toward stabilizing participation.

Sometimes internet connections are unstable, especially now with so many people working from home because of COVID-19. It is absolutely essential to be able to switch to phone audio during a meeting if your internet connection is acting up.We are switching to Teams--like it or not--as of May 1. I hope there are plans to fix this.

I entirely agree with this! I want to set some defaults to call me at, not reenter the same phone numbers EVERY TIME.

Need a clear audio selection method, like Zoom does (see capture). Zoom says "choose ONE option" right when you start the meeting. As Tony noted the user needs to navigate to a non-obvious location.
Make it easy to join, don't require user training!!

If you have an audio conference license, you get those numbers when the meeting is sent out

as of 8/26/2019 called Phone Audio on desktop app and on mobile app, found via Join now dropdown-Call me or Dial in - being specific since Teams app(s) changes. Our organization would like to see this feature in Teams where last number used or a specific number is always present. This would make our many thousands of end users happy. Either a config that is persistent, but changeable.

Agreed. This is a major annoyance in the switch from Skype for Business to Teams. I REALLY miss this feature.

This is the one feature preventing my organization from switching from s4b to teams. The call me feature was huge to make it easy for people to join a call and cancel the users mic and speakers at the same time. Now if someone joins and then wants to use the dialin number, they have to click on the info icon and fill in a phone number to use the call me function vs. having a number stored in the user profile that could be called on launch of the meeting if the user so desired.
