Please add this feature to teams, its so very helpful. Especially now that my company is all working virtually. We cant pop our heads up out of our cubicle to see if a coworker looks like they never made it in the office today or might just be away at break!

Skype allowed you to see how long someone has been away which was extremely helpful. Showing when someone is available is nice but knowing how long they have been away is a great feature to be able to expect responses.

I like the way Skype to show how long the contact away. Hope this feature will be added on for next release new version.

It was more helpful to see at a glance rather than hover over each name. I liked seeing exactly how long to help me determine if they had received messages.

We used this all the time to get a hold of people. It is a real down fall of Teams not to have this option

I see that there is the option to be notified when they get back. That's a nice feature.

Can their time away be displayed next to their name (or under their name) instead of manually hovering over their contact? Similar to Skype ...

This is possible today. It's in their Teams Contact card. If you hover over someone's profile picture it brings up their contact card. If someone is away their contact card shows, directly underneath their name, how long they have been away for.

I agree with Stephen. Knowing how long a person has been away is helpful. If they've been away for 16 hours, they are probably not in the office today. If they have only been away for 5 minutes, it is likely that they've stepped away and I try them back in a few minutes.

This is useful as they might not be in the office and I want to know how long have been away for
