Have end users change participant settings (lobby settings) for Teams meetings
Just like with Skype for Business have a setting that allows our end users to change the participant settings for Teams Meetings as described here for Skype for Business: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/change-participant-settings-for-skype-for-business-meetings-9175e297-de5f-43b2-8e0f-85cc05e24986

Alternatively, there should be an alert (flashing icon at the bottom of the toolbar) that let's the organizer know there is someone waiting.
Great it is there. Are you planning add possibility for end-user to set their own default "lobby admission" settings for all future meetings?

I agree. This is seriously the most stupid default I've ever seen implemented in the last 5 years. This is supposed to be a productivity tool for teams. It's extremely counterproductive if the first 3-10 minutes of a call you have to to see who's in the lobby and accept them. I already sent them the call information and invite! I get some people might hop on because of a forward, but that's not as common. This is further compounded by the Mobile App for Teams being horrible. Unless you see the notification and hit it in time, I have yet to find on the app where the Lobby is. It seems like you have to log onto the PC version, which if you're already on your phone, productivity deteriorates further because the phone is unmuted as default making a huge echo until you mute the line. I'm amazed that it's taken so long for Microsoft to fix this. Really horrible experience if that isn't clear by everyone weighing in.
We have the need for the meeting organizer to turn/off the lobby feature.
Many meetings I hold there is no need for having to admit users individually. They should be automatically come in..

It is not 100% work with the following settings:
- Let anonymous people to start a meeting: OFF
- Automatically admit people: EVERYONE
- Allow dial-in users to bypass the lobby: ON
See the scenarios I have tested in the attached file.
Set my meeting to allow "Everyone" to bypass the lobby. Tested by calling in from a conference phone - still got put in the lobby. What does "Everyone" mean exactly if that doesn't include participants calling in from a phone line? Getting these meeting options changes as a "global" setting or to persist from meeting to meeting would also be much appreciated!
Same as others, "you don't have permission" message. But it works for a colleague (sitting next to me). What the heck Microsoft?

there is a link under the Conference ID number for Meeting options. I am also trying to get this set as a default and not have to change it for everyone meeting
How do you set the meeting options at the time of creating a Teams meeting from Outlook Web Access? I toggle the switch to indicate this is a Teams meeting, but no Meeting Options link appears anywhere like it does if I schedule the meeting using Outlook for Windows.
I tried updating the Meeting Options on a meeting that I was just creating and hadn't been sent yet. It seemed to work, though the webpage notated that it was an Unscheduled Meeting. However, the option was not saved and I had to admit people in the lobby.
Then, I tried changing the Meeting Option to "Everyone" can bypass the lobby after the meeting was scheduled. This worked.
Now, if we can only get this set at a global/organizational level (instead of a per meeting option) ...
Still get a response saying I do not have permission or my own meeting. Status update?

When I click "Meeting Options" in Outlook for Mac, on a meeting that I created this morning, I get the error "You don’t have the permission to change the meeting settings.
Please reach out to the meeting organizer for any changes."
In addition, since the Teams information isn't added to a Mac Outlook invite until after the invite is sent it means Mac users will need to send an update to all users in order to make this change rather than being able to change it upon booking the meeting.

Still does not impact audio conferencing. You must open the teams app to start the audio bridge. We are relying on skype for business until feature parity is available.
Meeting Options URL doesn't load in IE11, just Chrome and Edge.
Meeting options says: You don’t have the permission to change the meeting settings.
Please reach out to the meeting organizer for any changes.
I had our admin team enable this feature and can confirm that it works. It would be great if the meeting options opened directly in the Teams app instead of opening a web browser. Any chance of that happening?

Putting my two cents in here. I opened a ticket with Office 365 support (14678478) to see why I couldn't turn off the "waiting room" or "queue" when calling in to a Teams conference phone line. I "turned it off" in the Teams admin portal but it didn't change anything. The Office 365 tech said that it didn't work because this feature is in development and let me know that I could let my voice be heard here in this forum. Please get this feature to work. thank you.
