Every Monday we have a Teams meeting with the head of our departments and the CEO. EVERY. MONDAY the CEO wants to know why I haven't put up a profile photo. It's beginning to annoy the **** out of him and doesn't look good for me. I have searched and tried every tactic and still no upload. I think I have two weeks left before he kicks to me to the curb.. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Users starting to have this issue at my employer as well. Some can update profile pics but most can't. What the duce Microsoft??

Having similar issue in uploading a user profile image. Anytime I try to upload it from his computer application or web app use. Image works fine if I upload it as my own profile pic. But this user cannot upload it under his profile from multiple computers.

Same issue and error using paid version. Tried on mobile (iOS) and desktop version. Need immediate fix please, should not be a tough one to crack!

The reason of this issue is not using exchange service and this feature use the exchange function. Please make this feature independently, thanks.

There appear to be 42 comments (so far) + my 1 that you can not update photo in Teams. Please post a fix Microsoft or tell us you can't change your photo.

same issue for me. Raised a support ticket but they simply saying you need exchange online to work this.(we are using exchange on premise ). But I showed them it is was working earlier ad few users already updated photo but now they are not able to update.

I have received the same message. I tried modifying my picture so that it was under 100 KB (.JPG), did not work. I also tried saving as a .PNG, did not work. I cannot find anything from Microsoft that explains how to fix this or that they even care about this issue.

I signed into office.com with my Team account, and tried to change my profile image there, and got a clearer error message.
"Can't change photo
Your profile photo was provided by your IT or human resources department. To change your photo, contact them or your admin."Would be helpful if Teams passed the error information through.

Same issue here....
Tried from various devices, tried different photo sizes and formats...
Color, black and white.
I can view and save the generic initials to my photo library, and can’t even load that as a replacement photo.

Is there a fix/solution yet to this problem with unable to get a photo uploaded? Get same error: "There was a problem saving the photo. Please try again." We just got the MS Teams sw installed on our systems and they are asking everyone to install and upload photo. I was able to install the sw and sent out test chat which works, but when came to upload photo, not so simple, still having issues won't upload and get error - are there any system requirements that advise on what to do? - smh.

I have the same issue, I can't save my profile picture on Teams!! I have tried the online version, windows app, android app, nothing!!! Frustrating and most likely the easy thing to set up for a company this size..... you would think!! CAN YOU HELP?

I've tried:
- from the Desktop app, from the web app and from mobile
- different photos
- changing my name at the same time
- clicking "Remove picture" firstNothing helped.

same error message here.
click on person icon on the top right of the frame -> click "edit profile".
I've tried "remove picture" and "upload picture". Either option results in "There was a problem saving the photo. Please try again."Why is this so difficult?
