Quick Hide and Hide All Conversations
Currently in Teams it takes two mouse clicks to close a chat conversation. In Skype there is a "X" to close the conversation. This results in a single mouse click to close out a conversation window.
This makes it easy to rapidly close out any open conversatations you are finished with. It would be nice to have this same function in Teams.
The X could go either to the left of the CHAT name or next to the "...".
Also it is very easy for your "RECENT CHAT" tab to get filled up with several conversations and takes a long time to close all open conversations
(again because of the 2 clicks required). It would be nice to have a "Hide all conversations" option when you either right click on a CHAT name or when you click on the "...". This would allow you to quickly clean up your RECENT tab.
In the Chat Window itself, there should be a "Hide" button.
Scenario: You are having a private (or group) chat. The Chat is "over" and there is no reason to keep it in your "Recents" since the topic was transient/time sensitive only. You should be able to "Hide" (Close) the chat right from the Chat window. Do not make the user click multiple times to get back to "Recents", then find the Chat, click again to get the option to Hide and then have to click "Hide".
Unnecessary clicks reduce productivity, reduction in productivity is an increase in expense which reduces overall company profits.
I have noticed this as well and agree this would be a welcomed addition!

I second this. It would be a valuable improvement to the flow of the application.
This would definitely be a helpful UI improvement!
