Polls and Forms in Meetings
There have been several members on the Tech Community who have asked to have forms and polls in meetings. Currently can have notes, whiteboard, files etc. Snap polls were a part of SfB but having Microsoft Forms and Polls (whether via Polly or a native app) would be an improvement and a much more interactive meeting! Best, Chris

Thank you for your feedback. We are excited to announce we are currently rolling out the new feature meeting polls, powered by Microsoft Forms. If you don’t yet see it in your meetings, you will see it soon.

I would like to have a poll with 204 options and use it for selecting Employee of the year. But poll gives me only 6 options. How can I enlarge to 204?

anything you can add to make Teams meetings and Live Teams meetings more participatory. I know they were designed for 8-10 people, but they're used increasingly for 45 - 275 person meetings where getting participation is tough.

Sorry, I thought this option was already working; I use it in virtual meetings. As long as a chat has been started, i get the option to poll. What am I not seeing in this conversation?

The functionality of being able to do a poll during a call greatly increases participation and is helpful to determine where additional training might be needed based on the participant responses

100% to this one. I just spent an hour with a user trying to figure out how to do some sort of polling in Teams. Response "Why aren't we using Zoom yet?"
We did get forms working, in a bizarre way... but they don't work for external users.
Right now, the organizer will be asking users to raise and lower they hands. Not optimum.

Engagement would markedly increase with polling.

Presenters are requesting an interactive polling feature to encourage engagement during virtual Teams training sessions. I've participated in Forms Surveys during Teams meetings (trying to fill the role of an "interactive poll") and the functionality has been challenging and problematic. Something needs to be built into the Teams platform directly.

Hi all,
Was looking for the same. Happy to share that it is possible by using Forms or Polly
Here is a demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gb4AgBXcgWQTwo side notes:
- If you want to test it, you need at least one other participant on the call
- External attendees need to be set up with care to be able to participate in the poll: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/external-participants-can-t-view-chat-amp-poll-in-channel/m-p/1494693 -

Live polls where we can get immediate consolidated response would be great. For webinars and meetings in MS Teams this would at least give interaction with participants/attendees.

As many have said, this could be a very helpful addition to meetings in our remote world.

Please add this! And please make sure the feature allows all invitees/attendees, whether internal or external, to vote on snap polls

Any tool improving the interactivity in the meetings becomes essential with the Covid situation. Please add polling functions to Teams.
