Possibility to pause a video recording
It would be great to have a possibility to pause and continue meeting recording.

This is definitely needed - when a 2 hour lecture is taking place there are often breakouts for group discussion, but having to splice together 4-5 different recordings is time consuming and beyond the skill level of some.

all meetings we have needs a break in between, additionally requires hold for sometime for so many reasons .. in this regard we do not have the option to pause the recording!
the only option is to stop and make another one.. it would be very important and useful to have pause option available.

I agree we need a pause. We are a music appreciation society with a professional lecturer. We take a coffee break and it makes sense to pause recording and resume for the second half.

We have begun switching our conference room from webex to teams. As a public benefit corp our board meetings need to be posted for the public. The lack of this feature is a major step backwards for board presentations which have parts that go into executive session due to security reasons etc. In the past the host would simply pause the recording during those parts in webex, now they would have to create separate recordings that need post production work to combine before posting on our website.

A absolute MUST. Can't understand why it wasn't on the original Functional Requirements Document. With the Teams being increasingly used by education for teaching (thanks to CoViD) it can't come a moment too soon. Thanks in anticipation.

This is desperately needed, especially for whole day training sessions. The recording gets too long, so it would be great if we could pause at intervals and even cut unnecessary things out.

Yes, we absolutely need this function. If we're using Stream to create a recording for our digitally engaged students at real time students at the same time, we either cannot take breaks, or we make multiple videos of the same content. Please resolve this functionality, Microsoft gurus!

Hello, it would be better if it has function to pause the recording video, why? Because as we have online classes currently, we have break time as well, so in order to avoid much data this function would be much useful. Thank you.

PLEASE add a pause feature. Our teachers are using Teams but there are times when they need to PAUSE a recording. I don't want them going to other programs, as we are a Microsoft school. This is an urgent request!

We record our training & some meetings, and when there's a technical glitch (e.g., bad connection, poor audio), it'd be helpful to pause until it's corrected.
