Team Dashboard / Landing Page
When you click on a Team, it would be nice if you got a dashboard for the team / landing page instead of going directly to the "general" channel.
This would be a great place to roll-up information for activity in the team:
- recent conversations (from all channels within the team)
- recent or all documents (similar to the OneDrive landing page, but scoped to the Team
- search
- membership list
- pinned content
- static content (to post general team information)

This definitely needs to be changed. Having a pointless landing page is not user friendly. Constantly having to communicate to people about how to ignore and navigate away from this "Post" tab.

Of course we need a custom-landingpage, so our external guests see our CI!

Can we set a landing page on Teams?? rather than having the "Posts" tab

Please implement this feature. For the way we are tying to use Teams, the conversations tab is completely useless. If you won't implement a landing page option, then at least let us set the default tab that opens when you click on a channel. Does anyone know if Slack has that capability?

Would be great if this is implemented. I am looking for this solution as well.

I agree, a dashboard or landing page or top section of the general channel would be great. I also think It would be useful when you enter a Team (workspace) that the list of other Teams hides away (to create focus), as it does in the education version

Yes, we need a landing page so our users have an introduction page with useful information displayed.

We would like to have an analytcs or metrics dashboard be presented first when clicking on a team.

Would be great to be able to rearrange the landing page order so you could land on the files tab rather than the posts tab, unfortunately this seems to have been rejected in-spite of significant demand... Once again, MS is showing us all how well it 'listens to its users'...

This would be huge so we can label one group as External and One Internal for Clarity. Also, it would help us post some guides for how to find information or files. It would be as easy as uploading a Power Point or JPG.

@Alex, can you have a comment on this, since this would greatly improve th eusability of Teams. When I click on the Teams name, I want to see a landing page where I see the latetst changes, and not this poor "posts"

I think the Post section is Teams was poorly thought through. Think about it, when you are invited to join a team the first thing you want to see is an introduction telling you what this team is for. Next, you want to see important messages. Hosts want to be able to at like hosts and welcome people and highlight important things. Unfortunately, the first thing you see is a noisy scrolling audit log .. fair enough add an audit log as the 6th or 7 tab but have the ability to hide junk like abc was added to this group and xyz set-up meeting. Imaging you were using a channel to run a project and the landing screen was your 'Project on a Page' that would nail it.

We were just chatting about exactly this, that way you could pin key documents etc

Yes - a dashboard/landing page for a Team would be great. Perfect place to outline the purpose of the Team in a bit more detail (vs. description when you set it up).

Can MS TEAM developer work out a way to allow disable of auto email out the notification to the members when it is added
In my case, I added the members and they received the notification that to the main teams. However, I want them to go to the specific channel created within the TEAM.
how to only send the specific notification link to these group as now they are received twice the notification - 1st the main page, 2nd the channel they are added to.... is very confusing for the person who received.

To add an APP (Example SharePoint page), and make it as default.. This would be very useful.

This is a great idea - The Microsoft Stream Group page does a good job of this but it would be extremely useful in Teams.
If this is done, and there are modules, PLEASE make sure there's an "image" box or frame where we can upload anything we need.
