Add whole mention text to email notification
I receive notification emails for personal and team mentions. Some are important but many are not. However the email doesn't have enough of the message to tell, so I have to log in to teams and open my activity just to see that someone posted a picture.
Please include the whole conversation message in the email notification.

I would expand this to all notification emails. I often pick up notification emails out of hours on my cell and only want to read and respond to important, critical, time sensitive messages or mentions or updates. As it stands the preview shown is far too short and doesn't give enough to make a judgement.
I would rather have much longer notification emails or at least the ability to choose normal or full notifications so I can decide how much I want.
Will save lots of unnecessary time waiting for teams to open..
These are so annoying. I get the in-app notification, check the app, and then four hours later get a stale notification of an old conversation.
They serve no purpose and just clutter my inbox. It's bizarre that the app lacks such an obvious feature.
I dont want to receive email notification me about new message.
How to enable to that one!
I am receiving an email regarding an unread message even though I have already read the message in chat. I like the email in case I miss a chat, but false positives are becoming annoying.

The email notification for channel mentions typically includes less than a full sentence of the relevant post. The entire post, or at least the first 1,000 characters should be included in the notification email.
It would be nice if the email notification from Teams about new messages included the timestamp from the original message so it's easy to tell if you've already spoken to them.
Recently, it appears as if the email notifications format has changed. (Mentioned in this blog post - https://veenstra.me.uk/2017/10/12/microsoft-teams-notifications-i-dont-get-it/)
In the settings, users are allowed to select the frequency of email notifications. So if I want an email every time someone @ mentions me, then I can receive "as soon as possible". However, the new default seems to be that I will not receive the email notification if I'm logged into any platform of MS Teams and receive a notification inside of Teams. If you've given me the choice to receive and email notification and I chose to do so, please allow me to receive the email notification!
How is this not a thing? It should just be an option in the notifications settings within the app. If you’d like an example of how this has been elegantly implemented, the Redfin app does a pretty good job with a contact preferences matrix for the various types of alerts.
Please stop the deluge of emails. If I care about those I'm on Teams with, and I do, I have it open and I am monitoring it.
These extra email notifications are annoying.

I also want this. It is annoying beyond believe.
The text “You’re missing all the action in Microsoft Teams,” because I was away from clients when an update came in is pretty annoying, considering how much time I *do* spend in the clients.
I want to be able to disable email notifications from the Android app, but keep app push notifications enabled.
