Screen Sharing Meeting Controls Should Auto-hide or minimize
On Screen Sharing Meeting Controls Should Auto-hide or minimize.
The current setup shows the incoming video of the presenter and the Meeting control hover over the presenters screen share causing some data to be covered by the controls.

Its 2020, and yet no option to hide meeting controls so annoying
This is really annoying. Take a look at how you can maximise the use ofthe screen real estate, I donot think that this has been done so far.
Would be great if I could move it or hide it. Very distracting as is.

Yes please to this. It's nice right now that it disappears, but re-appears when ever the mouse moves, even if not near that location. Really gets in the way when I use PPTs uploaded to Team Meetings.
This feature is a no brainer!
Please allow us to set between permanently hide, show or Auto Hide on the Meetings Control Bar during a Video Call and Screen Sharing!!
When sharing a document on screen, I agree it is best not to have controls overlaying any of the document, so it should auto hide.
However, in roundtable conversations is there a way to keep the tool bar visible at all times?
Typically people mute when not speaking.
But very awkward to mouse over the bottom of the screen to show the toolbar, to be ready to unmute to jump into a conversation, only to have the darn thing dissappear.
Can I get the toolbar with my mute button to stay visible at all times?

It would be cool to have a simple left-click on the screen share to toggle between hiding and showing the menu. Having mouse movement over the screen, the way it works today, does not give the user control to make it stay away.
Please let us hide the bar. It is really frustrating when you can't see all of people's screens. Reviewing code, reading detailed slides is painful. This is so obvious and it appears that Microsoft is not listening to their customers
additionally when we share slides a major portion is covered by the control
Does anyone at Microsoft actually look at these ideas and try to improve the product? This thread is 1 1/2 years and nothing has been done. This seems like such a simple fix.

I agree with all of the above. This issue should have been caught in user testing. So obvious.
just another plea to manipulate the banner that BLOCKS portions of presenter's screens.Make it smaller? Put it somewhere else? ANYTHING!!!
And yes please!!!!!!!!! super frustrating to try to take a screen shot of a presentation when the bar returns on screen.
This would be a great UX improvement.
With the increase in remote work and the need to share "snippets" of information versus revisiting a full recording the ability to take a quick snip without the control bar there has merit and provides clarity, fidelity of information and enabling full collaboration and remote work experience.
+1 vote on this feature.

Agree, the control bar needs to auto-hide and re-appear when the mouse moves.
Bar gets in the way of the last line of every shared powerpoint.

Please allow for hiding meeting controls or allow for docking them so they aren't blocking the screen share.
I agree, the Teams control Task Bar is not auto hiding when click off the presentation during a call. This is a break which needs to be fixed.

Please come up with a way to manually hide or move the Meeting Controls. The controls are always blocking the person's face or content. I am usually taking notes too, which means moving my mouse which unhides the controls when they have been autohidden. It is insanely frustrating.

Seconding all the requests for a way to *manually* hide/minimize the control bar. Auto-hide doesn't seem to be enough - on multiple occasions, I've moved my mouse down to the video feed or even completely outside the window, kept it completely still for several seconds, and the control bar still stayed on screen blocking my view of the presentation.
