Screen Sharing Meeting Controls Should Auto-hide or minimize
On Screen Sharing Meeting Controls Should Auto-hide or minimize.
The current setup shows the incoming video of the presenter and the Meeting control hover over the presenters screen share causing some data to be covered by the controls.

Wow this was reported in 2018 and the UX is still horrible. I wish I could say I was surprised.

Please make the screen presenter control draggable, or movable, or just show the thin read outline.
Everyone in our company struggles with this UX when presenting. We all often have multiple browser tabs open for presentations. They are all along the top of the screen, exactly where the presenter controls are hovering, with no way to remove them.
FWIW, most of us have multiple-monitor setups, and we only ever share one monitor.

If I'm understanding the complaints... "meeting toolbar hovers in the middle-bottom of the screen"...
This is addressed by enabling the New Meeting Experience in the Settings. Search "New Meeting Experience". It's all over the internet. -

Presenter Name appears at the corner and covers the Presenting content.
It is annoying and can't escape from this. Microsoft should remove this. -

As of 19 August 2020 this has 43 comments and 265 votes, but zero comments from anyone at Microsoft. Very disappointing.
1 - During meetings, people call me to ask how an they get rid of they annoying control toolbar - please add a "Hide Me" option
2 - Give presenters a "Hide Me" option for that, some would say, overly huge control box
3 - Give users the option to make "Full Frame by default" an option. It's so annoying to connect to a meeting where several attendees are two people sharing one laptop, only to see the gap in-between them by default. Here's how most of my meetings start;
* join meeting
* right-click, view full-frame
* right-click, view full-frame
* right-click, view full-frameI then spend the next few minutes hearing everyone else ask "how can we see both of you at the same time? Can you see me now? etc. etc.
Please Microsoft - thanks.

At the very least dragable like we can do with the video when sharing our screen/file.

This is super annoying and blocking part of the view while someone is presenting.

Oh yes... And the controls are SOOOO big! In my case nearly 2cms high!

This is particularly irritating when sharing an Excel workbook - the meeting controls block the worksheet tabs and make it impossible to navigate the workbook. Please add an option to dock the meeting controls at the top of the window or minimise them to a moveable icon. I would not be happy with an auto-hide option as they will keep reappearing when you work on a shared document.

This annoying bug has been since +2 years, yet they don't listen to their users. Meanwhile they keep adding worthless **** that ruins performance and you realize Teams is using 900mb of memory.

PowerPoint slides that are for a presentation using Teams meeting need to include a blank spot to allow for the meeting controls bar.... that is not ideal.
I am sure Microsoft employees themselves have noticed this and hopefully the option to hide this bar will be in a future update.

I would like a way to make the meeting controls go away or dock in another part of the interface; I almost never want them in front of my view of the meeting screen share! This user experience seems like such a backward step from other Microsoft products, and teams as a virtual meeting platform is not keeping up with the usability of other platforms available out there.

Add a F-key or something to toggle it on/off or minimize. It is super annoying that it pops up everytime you move the mouse

Using "full screen" mode is not an adequate solution. As more of us are working from home and smaller screens, and multi tasking, we really need a smaller window without the participant list at the bottom. We can already view all participants when needed. It just needs to be an option.

The layout of having participants listed at the bottom results in the controls hiding valuable screen space. May be make the participant icons smaller and/or move the controls over participant names instead of hiding content being shared.

Hi. Please please sort this. This is SO ANNOYING. I have been trying to record a presentation, and I cannot see the bullet points on the slides (yes, controls disappear after a short while, but when you press a button to move to next slide they pop up again!). Thank you.
