Remove character limit in Teams
"You must shorten you response to post it"
I'm trying to paste copy from an email. It's only like 200 words max.
I have been using this as a CEO to keep my people up to date on Covid 19 for our business. Imposing limits doesnt seem to have any user benefit, or meet the purpose of how I choose to use TEAMS in my organisation. Please remove this pointless rule.

Agreed. This limitation should be removed or increased. This also applies for character limits in Channel Names - in order for channel names to be bilingual they should increase the character limit (or automatically translate other channel names like they do with the General channel).
This restriction has just dropped Teams in my eyes to an all time low... What is the purpose of this ridiculous limit?

I am having the same issue. Very often I would like to cut and paste an email into a Teams channel and I get that max size limit exceeded message. I fund that removing URLs makes it fit quicker than just removing plain text. So there is something else going on here (for example, removing the mailto: URL for users in an email). As a work around I have been using Get EMAIL Address for Channel and mailing directly in, but this is not editable within teams and requires a mail client launched to view each post.
