Teams Sharing Links
When clicking on a Teams link that has been sent to you (via email, for example) the page should open in the Teams desktop app if it is currently running. It the app is not running it should open in your default browser.
Also, if you click on a Teams link for a team of which you are not a member, there should be an error message telling you this, rather than just redirecting to your main Teams view without any message.
What I am missing with regards to file sharing from Teams is the functionality already available in Sharepoint and OneDrive. I would like to be able to create link to a file (most "open" option - "Anyone with the link can edit or view") in Teams. Unfortunately the share links created in Teams require recipients of the link to log on to MS account.

Yes! I need the "Teams" link back. now all the link is doing when I share through outlook is to direct my user to SP. How am I suppose to drive adoption in Teams, if there is no easy way to share a Teams link with people?

The experience of launching teams from a link or attachment needs to get better. Going through a browser and needing to click makes the experience clunky.
There are a number of suggestions similar to this. This one captures what I want best. When I click on a Teams link, take me to Teams app and open it, don't open a new browser window.
