Super Minimalist Tracking
I have no idea if I have added this to the appropriate channel!
My idea is to have a super minimalist service ticker tracker by adding limited functionality to the backend. I am not a developer but it seems doable to me:) My idea would act like twitter where upon typing # a unique reference number (or alphanum) would be added to the conversation for tracking. This number could be used to then provide status updates or added to planner for tasking. This way the teams user (in this case the SecOps group) have the liberty to make the conversation trackable w/o the bother of creating helpdesk tickets. Once the number is visable in a reply it could be closed in some manner perhaps even #<insert ref>close# or similar and could be assigned by @user #<insert ref>.
I think this is a good idea, it will be great for teams to track content.
