Bluetooth capability on Android app
Android app does not have Bluetooth capability. Please add this asap.
Thanks for feedback! We have fixed many Bluetooth issues in recent updates, so we recommend taking the following steps:
(1) update to the latest Teams app,
(2) clear Bluetooth cache if you are using Android (search on Bing for how to do this for your particular device)
(3) pair your Bluetooth headset again.
If you are still experiencing issues, please help us by posting your phone model, BT headset model, current Teams client info, and when the issue occurs. You can also send us more information by choosing “Report an Issue” from Settings in the Teams app. Thank you!

Managed to overcome this. Pixel 3XL, Android 10(Q) was unable to use Bluetooth with wireless earbuds.
Turned out it needed the 'MAKE PHONE CALLS' permission, which was set to DENY.
Granting this permission solved it. Works perfectly for me.
It's hard to take time to submit a big report in the middle of a call, but I will try testing this with my IT team. My experience so far is that the android app on Samsung Note 10+ will not push call audio to my Samsung Buds or the speaker in my car.
Works now on my Nokia 7.1. Hooray!

This did not work with my OnePlus 6 and Sony WH-1000X M3 in late 2018 / early 2019, but now it does!

Reported the issue as requested. Using an Google Pixel 2, I was unable to get Teams to use my Plantronics Voyager Legend. The same bluetooth headset was able to work with Teams on a Surface Pro 6.

This is an extreme annoyance. I cannot use a bluetooth headset to join teams meetings. Please allow bluetooth headphones/headsets in the teams app! Please! Using speakerphone in the car feels like the 1990s...
I think this functionality is added? Works on my Samsung S7 i.c.w. Bose QC35 or Volkswagen BT.

I do not own headphones that plug into my phone, I only have bluetooth headphones and this improvement would be greatly appreciated.
Absolutely agree this is needed.
Not only is this an extreme annoyance, but I can't even work around it by calling in. If a user is called in via phone, the Teams app will not start on that device, so you cannot participate in the visual part of the meeting. There is no technical reason that this should be the case -- WebEx does this just fine on my phone. Teams is basically unusable on an Android.
This is a must needed feature. My company now relies on Teams and its call capabilities. On Android there is no bluetooth support.

Please do this, I can't take calls on the go in my vehicle right now. This is for your users safety so they can use their hands free in their cars!

This is a killer for Teams meetings. Super dangerous while driving
