Planner link a bucket to a team
Best practice for planner for a team is to set on up and have a bucket per channel. Is there anyway to make this automatic
We have the same problem

First, thanks to Microsoft for listening to the end users. I found this when I was learning about teams. To elaborate what Alan succinctly said, currently, we can use planner with teams in two ways. In one way, we can create one planner for a team and create multiple buckets and use a bucket per channel. Advantage, we have global view of all tasks, disadvantage, the tasks under the channel has data irrelevant to that channel. Second, we can create one planner per channel but the disadvantage is that it does not give global view of what the team is doing and where we need to put more resources. We need a way to associate a bucket in a global task (supervisory view) where as people working on a project/channel are not cluttered with tasks that is not useful to them.
So, we need best of both worlds, is it too much to ask? :)
