Hyperlinks for servers/network drives
When I post a link to an internal page/file, or a network location it does not turn into a hyperlink - the edit dialog displays "invalid URL".
Please disable URL checks to allow any sort of hyperlink - just like in Outlook.

I'm trying to use teams to move away from email but the inability to insert hyperlinks to files in internal network drives means I have to attach them as a file in teams which the recipient will have to open, download, edit and save again on the internal network which is much more cumbersome than emailing a hyperlink and staying within Outlook.
Also, the clunky way of forwarding emails to channels and having to @ mention someone to get their attention and then having a chat about it in the channel when I could just forward the email to that person and ask them a questions without having to move from one outlook to teams? Can we have the functionality to just @ mention someone in the body of an email and discuss it there rather than forwarding an email to a channel? This functionality is already available in Frontapp and makes much more sense than forwarding emails to channels.

Microsoft: Why do you force an upgrade from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams, especially if the program you want us to upgrade to does not have the same functionality as the program we are upgrading from?
Sending a link (URL or otherwise) to other employees on a network is essential to daily office communication.
Fix this... or a case could be made to abandon Microsoft Office or a more functional program.
