Option to hide the profile pictures of contacts within MS Teams.
The ability to hide profile pictures of contacts is available in Skype for Business. This option would be great for MS Teams and other applications as well.

Contact photos are distracting and unnecessary. Please add the option to hide them like we could in Lync/Skype for Business.

Yes, please allow this option to be available. Many of my coworkers don't even use their own photos and I'm sick of looking at Spongebob Squarepants, Fred Flintstone and Big Bird (among others) all day. Thanks!

Please make this an immediate priority, we don't need to see profile picture of coworkers, this is not social media.

Pls make this high priority, this is a productivity killer, its not helping with focussing, it should be an optional feature

Please make this feature high-priority. I don't need to see their faces all day.

I don't want to repeatedly be made to see profile pictures of my the team members every time they message me or reply. Please allow the option for "display others profile pictures" or not before i (and several others) go insane

Definitely make optional.
The screen we are trying to share is too small to see. Hiding the gallery would free up space for the screen share. -

Please provide option to hide profile picture. It is distracting, covers part of the screen and most of the time does not value add.

Please provide a user option to hide pictures. This will help with screen real estate AND mitigate distractions during a meeting. Why isn't this already part of the design? Teams seems much more social media focus than collaboration focus.

Its an absolute pain in the rear to have so much of the teams screen hidden behind profile pictures of other participants on the same call. If the pictures cannot be turned off, can they reduced to a minimal size or just a name, or better still moved to a second screen.
The team members are primarily in attendance to see meeting content not how good some other attendee looks

Doing a yoga class on teams - can't find a way to get rid of thumbnails of other students when teacher is pinned - this means I can only see the top half of the teacher - it is easy to do this on zoom so why not on teams?

Now that schools are using it, this is making me drop Teams completely, as I work at a Title 1 school and I have zero control over the images students are using.

Please can MS allow the user to toggle between images or initials. Much more acceptable for business.

When on a teams conference call we have a couple people who are very disruptive - moving around, getting up and down and it's very distracting. It would be great to hide those people - when needed
